  • Hi

Could a turret be made for the lightstream 5-20x50? Hoping to use it for hunting and is of the low type?

    Graeme

  • Hi Graeme,

unfortunately I don't know the Lightstream so I don't know whether it is possible or not. Maybe you could mail me some pictures of your scope with the turret removed ?

  • Personally i cant see the point of using a turret cap yet alone an adjustable one. If theres a difference on the day just alter the dialling to suit ie add three or four clicks on to everything. Who knows adjusting on the plinking range, it could be different round the course!

    Nice work any way Mario.

Did two many months ago for the S&B FT in SA with two sets of interchangeable marking bands.

  • Hi Jon,

adding 3 or 4 clicks to everything was what I did in the beginning, and I often forgot to add those clicks ;-). Not a problem on the closer ones, but not what you want on the 55 yarder. So I carried an allen key for years to adjust the turret and finally came up with this which is a lot more convenient. Most of the people that are using it seem to like it as well.

The work is not too bad, but not as nice as the things you make, Jon :-).

  • Very nice. Do you make these yourself ? Can they be purchased? I have a 10-50x60 Nighteater.

  • What is the make of the scope? Thanks!

  • It's a NikkoStirling 10-50x60, model 2008.

  • Nice idea, you can patent that idea couldn't you? Thanks for sharing. Beekeeper.
