I love him. My only problem is his very short-sighted depiction of Michael Jackson. Perhaps limited given that he may have seen only one side of Michael - the side of MJ that allows himself to be vulnerable. I don't know what DG means by saying MJ was child-like. Does he mean pure, innocent? If so, this would be true.. But if he means infantile, simple, I take issue with that. What can I say to show my appreciation? I recall first seeing Dick Gregory on The Ed Sullivan show, until he became "too outspoken and controversial." He was only on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour before they were cancelled by CBS because they became, likewise, "too controversial." Between him and George Carlin (who was also criticized and cancelled for that same reason;) and really few others within the US; they raised the consciousness of a generation, teaching us of a whole higher level.
