Don't know why Grohl is even mentioned in the same breathe as Cornell but let me put it this way. I own all Soundgarden and Audioslave records. I own all but 2 of Foo Fighters records. I can sit through any Cornell song over and over, while I find myself skipping through most foo fighters songs until I find the "good" song. No disrespect to Grohl, the man is talented, but Cornell is far greater in every aspect. Just my take.

Grohl is a musical genius but Cornell has always been in the shadow of Kurt Cobain and others, spite the FUCKIN FACT that his vocal range outdoes most of the grohl musicians. I think only Layne Staley form Alice In Chains had a better voice, not nescessarily a better vocal range, but voice - but that's just my opinion
