@joeastig The trex 550 is a bigger heli and that is why it is much more stable. it is also available with a 3g flybarless system which makes it even more stable.
The 550 is easier to fly you can say, but the 450 is a wonderful heli too.
If there is something else you want to know about one of them just ask.

Did, you find it difficult to build this helicopter so that it would fly so smootly? Did you just follow the manual that came with it? Also what controller did you use to fly it?
@MrMickle28 with a good build video, the right tools and a lot of patience you will be okay! for flying you will need some practise on a sim first! by controller you mean the transmitter i guess. that is the futaba t8fg
@hasminor thanx man! it was my first t-rex i learned a lot with this heli. then I bought a 500 esp and recently a 550e and i sold my 450 pro, but it was perfect for learning the basics.
Goodness the pro is already 3 years old. sheesh. I still fly the 450SA/SE and XL lol.

@pofrani I sold it last year to buy a trex 550e. the 550 is also sold now and i am flying a mikado logo 500SE.

@joeastig that is a wonderfull transmitter! for a good price. but you will need a futaba receiver too, that will cost you about 85 dollar extra

@Aversmann Ein 450 pro ist spitze aber fuer ein anfaenger auch ein bischen teuer
Wenn du dann auch noch ein sender kaufen muss.
Wenn geld keine rolle spielt wuerde ich sagen kaufen sofort.
Aber fuer viel weniger geld kaufst du ein wunderschoenen kds 450 sv komplett alu
Ist auch ein tolle sender dabei , und ersatzteile sind billig und immer auf vorrat !
Normal emphele ich erst Kds dann spaeter trex 450 oder grosser

The original T-Rex indeed seems to be a lot better than CopterX, HK450 and other "imitations"!! Goede vluchten und viel Spaß!!

hab jetzt ca 20 akkus geflogen und alles ist noch perfekt! er fliegt auch jedes mal gleich.
ist viel besser als meinen kds, und auf dauer auch billiger denke ich!
