    Thanks for watching my videos. All those brands are fine. I have a Yaesu FT-250 and it works well for me.

  • u can just put the pos. wire into ur fuse box.. and the ground to a screw.

  • @beaststr ---Connecting a ham radio through the fuse box and using the frame for a ground is a good way to start a car fire, not to mention the ignition noise you will likely pick up. Definitely not recommended.

    Connecting to the fuse box may be fine for low amp usage (CB radio, stereo, etc) but NOT for a ham radio.

  • you could just run it through the door, there is a port under the hood that goes right between the the door frame so it doesn't pinch any cables.

  • Good job,,glad to see ya didn't take any shortcuts there,,hopefuly there won't be any rfi issues into or out of the vehicle,,one ford i had would throw fits when i ran high power on certin freq's,,ferite beads on my power cables helped,,just my .02 ,,good dx to you,,73's
