It's interesting reading the responses here. I checked the profiles for the posters' locations and it never fails: only Americans think of socialism as a bad thing or a bad word right of the bat, as if it was a given. Despite the great technological advances, it's still a country stuck in the 18th century. Not sure why that is.

From my studies of the guy, the besides the Israel he is not very radical.

he seems to have some pretty stiff and radical views to me.. i sat in a car with him for an hour and hear all about how obama is a hack defending imperialism, racism and government tyranny.. he seems to be a socialist, if i had to define it. I specifically remember him talking shit about Richard Falk and having only great things to say about Noam Chomsky.

He's kind of a weird dude, but i'm a big fan.

Yeah, I guess I was just goin by other vids I saw him in where he spoke off the cuff about things besides Gaza. Anyways, he went on to say he would not say that the United States should cease to exist.

I know the game, he can't say that or else the opposition will slam him and make his job 10x harder. He has never come off as a socialist to me and knowing Obama is a tool of capital is not very radical IMO. Guess I gotta have a face to face with him like you.
