The reason i hate cops is because they don't believe what you tell them when they pull you over. i was on a light in the morning going to work and it was only me on the light for more than 10 minutes waiting, so i looked on both sides and saw that no traffic coming so i passed really careful with fully attention, then i get surprised by a cop in a charger coming fast from three blocks away and pull me over for crossing the light. at least i have a reason to do it, not like them for no reason.
and if you were on a motorcycle and a cop did the same to you your buddy iso n the back he gets killed now how would that make u feel not only did he run the light he also crossed into wrong way traffic! --if your on a motorbike you be flying down the road and hit him , head on , youll be dead and so will who ever else it is on with you if thats the case

An officer of the law is a civilian first, with authority to enforce the laws, but not authority to break laws. Some people commenting just don't understand. You may not like this Jimmy guys methods but calling these people out is right, who's going to hold them accountable when they are the ones giving tickets. I'm willing to bet they aren't going to drive like that again. And anyone who is going to try and defend that driving lets get serious the turned into oncoming traffic and you would get a ticket for that U-turn regardless of how safe it was.

the "very dangerous u-turn" is bullshit, it's a nearly empty street. If im correct, (at least in my state) you can turn right on red, and if you are a careful driver (i.e you pull up to look before you turn) then pulling slightly into the oncoming lane really isnt a big deal. crossing a double yellow? really?!? i suppose you would just sit in the oncoming lane? Dude, I agree that law enforcer are not allowed to abuse the power handed to them, but the way you start a conversation with them doesn't leave much room for friendly behaviour. If someone cam up to me, saying "Hey, are you lazy", I wouldn't want to talk to you either. Police, delivery people, mail truck delivery drivers, busses, (school busses) the Coroner (I can't explain that one) These tickets represent no death, no personal injury, no property damage, no plaintiff, have no "standing" in court. Some judges dismiss them immediately. They make the courts look foolish if defended properly.

Sure no one is perfect.. but these cops are not making inadvertent mistakes... they're knowingly breaking the exact same laws which they give tickets to other people for doing. That is called abuse of position. If they're going to knowingly (and it is conscious because it's being pointed out to them and they're telling him to go away and shut up) do things they know they shouldn't, they shouldn't have that job. while there are plenty of good officers, I too have personally come across MANY that in non-emergancy situations are constantly breaking laws. An officer of the law is a civilian first, with authority to enforce the laws, but not authority to break laws. These videos are good as more should do it, without being intrusive or accusational, state facts and send in the vids and let the law handle them. They arent perfect, but they should be living up to the higher standards they're expected to have

Its not about who is more corrupt or if a drug dealing officer is worse than breaking other laws, every cop, who is supposed to uphold the law, has to live by this law, its even worse with "such" small claims, because they pile up and slowly you will take more and more freedoms of the law. Its much easier to ignore small laws and eventually bigger laws, than immediately breaking a big one.

I guess I'm not really understanding why you are upset they didn't get out of their unit to perform their duties? Although there was barely any traffic in this area, lots of officers are run-over by other cars while walking to hand a citation to a motorist, etc. (Research it). I say the more duties they can perform from the seat of their police unit, the better! Makes for a safer work-place for the officer and eliminates risks. Oh, and I'm sure you never make mistakes in YOUR day job???
