I absolutely adore this movie. I don't care how many haters there are, doesn't change my feelings on it. I was 15 when this came out, and I fell in love with it. I agree it was corny, but I loved it all the same.
yall shouldnt be so hard on her acting skills cause she said she didnt even want to do this movie but it was a requirment for the winner and runner up for american idol, she said she has no interest in acting..but if she had chosen to act and she sucked then you can be critical...but i think she did really good in this movie for someone whos never acted and has no interest in doing it
I don't get why people didn't like the movie. It was cute....it was just a cheesy as every other romantic-teen-comedy out there. She's was actually a pretty good in it. There was a part where she cries that was REALLY good...I totally got sucked in when I saw it.

at the concert i went to in november, she accidentally said the wrong line for one of the verses of "Chivas", so she made up the next line and then like five seconds later she started laughing but she still sang perfectly. :)
