Shes a great singer, but this is a guys song. I dont mean to be sexist in any way. Some songs are meant more for female vocalists, but this isn't one of them.

george straight wrote some of the very first songs on his box set, they are pretty good. as to the rest of you, both songs are good and i'm sure george straight wouldn't have picked it if he didn't like it himself. besides george straight is a song writers dream.

Being from Austin, it's known even to an aging hippie that Bruce Robinson, Kelli's hubby wrote this song that George gets all credit. I was also there in the crowd at this performance, Bruce and I think his brother also played there that day. He sang it too later that day. Missed that one. Does anyone know if George has ever written and sang a song? He's one of the greatest male C&W vocalists, to me anyway.

Yeah he wrote and sang 3 songs one was I Cant See Texas From Here,That Don't Change the way I Feel About You, and I Don't want to talk it over anymore but none of them ever were made singles

Nothing against George, but she really does great @ this song. He should've listened closer to the demo when he recorded it. Maybe he could have at least tried to get some of the inflection in there.

LoL the Kelly Willis plays George Straits... Wrapped... She probably has more to do with this songs being as her husband wrote it..
