I loved the Legion of Doom, I just wished they could fight better. I mean just because your super villains doesn't mean you can't work well together. :)
Every Saturday morning my brother and I would do the Grundy vs. Superman scene. He would get on top of the table and throw a big pillow at me and I would punch it like I was Superman. What can I say, "bad ass" post! it brings back memories!!
I recall seeing this excellent masterpiece of a cartoon on Cartoon Network late 90s. Cartoon Network was in it's golden age showing Scooby Doo, Scooby Doo where are you, Bugs and Daffy Show, Yogi Bear, and so many other excellent cartoons.
Actually, most of them were a bunch of losers with no superpowers, like Toyman, Scarecrow, and Captain Cold. Every member of the Superfriends but Batman had a superpower.
Yeah, I totally remember that one. They used to show it quite a bit around here (S.F. Bay Area, 30 years ago), but near as I can tell, no one's got it on YouTube, alas.
This intro is okay, but my favorite is where in addition to Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin and Aquaman, Announcer William Woodson also introduces Black Vulcan, Samurai, Apache Chief and El Dorado. I doubt anyone has it, but does anyone remember it?
That was probably an earlier one.. maybe Ted Knight announcing. I think they trimmed the number of superfriends down for a while. then later added firestorm and cyborg.
Batman is the best ^^

Luthor has no powers. Is he a loser?
And Aquaman, it could be argued, only swims and talks to fish.
My point is both teams were fierce. That's why "Challenge" is still most people's favorite version of the Super Friends.

Don't forget young Robin in briefs back then has no superpowers also.
