  • Sounds like Tribe Called Quest

  • No it doesn't you dumb fuck.

  • awesomeness

    I love cappuccino's

    it's adddiiiccttiiveeeee!

  • They're great, and, they don't rot your teeth as much as meth.

    Win/Win.

  • I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT CRACK

  • This is good rap! hahaha for once the new stuff isn't crappy shit with autotune! :D

  • only a minute long for me and the video is playing fast forward style...

  • Which years is this band from??

  • They're relatively new

  • red flannel guy is cute :]

  • i dont realy like hip hop it all sounds the same but the knux and gym class hereos are pretty good

  • New Orleans made...New Orleans Bound! Yay for hometown heros! Yaaadiiggg!?!?

  • Xelnaga, rap is what you do, hip hop is what you are. when you are spittin, you are rappin', which is a part of hip hop. do a little more research on the culture that is called hip hop.

  • I wish the creationist-evolutionist debates at my school were like this!

  • what is the chorus?

  • I need a fresh cappuccino with mocha twist.

Fresh, fresh cappuccino with a mocha twist...

Fresh, fresh cappuccino with a mocha twist...

    Hey, miss.

  • what does he say about a jaguar or somethin tho

  • that's not in the chorus.

  • Like the third time I listened to this I really loved the song @_@

These guys are so good! Why aren't they big yet? =[

  • but its awesome!

  • L this song is about having sex with both black and white women. EPIC

  • They're like a mixture of De La Soul and Outkast ........I like this!!!!!!!

  • right on point

  • New Orlenzzzz baby

  • like NAS said, HipHop is DEAD!

  • i only like oldschool and underground hip hop!

    i know more than you!

but this is better than lil wayne (da dying animal) or 50!

  • Agreed--This sounds like "The Man-Machine" by Kraftwerk! along with other styles as mentioned by others...

  • Yeah man this is gr8.

  • Plus the bad rap comment was directed towards AphroMagic's comment.

  • Please do NOT confuse bad rap with hip-hop. K thnx

  • I never said this was bad rap. Did I say "The Knux is bad rap?" Didn't think so, This isn't even rap it's hip-hop which has a lot more talent than rap.

  • Hipster movement is the shittttt.

  • I like it. I like the confident straight forward delivery, it reminds me of like a phife dog or someone.

  • I like it. They've got an "outkast" kind of thing going.

Not exactly like them. but its different. I love anything different now a days.

  • hey dalong, FUCK YOU! im sorry we cant all listen to young whatever, lil stoop boy, or some of that stupid ass snap music you call hip hop.

  • the difference is, this aint snap music by anymeans!!!

i am NOT a fan of some new music,. but that is not just because its not the 36 chambers or illmatic

but these dudes, the cool kids... got some skillz

  • this isnt the whole song/video! listen to bang bang by them bc its wayyy better so if u dont like this group listen to bang bang

  • the referring to different types of girls as cappuccino's...DUUUHHHHHH

  • nahh man actually i saw these guys live they said they wrote this song when they were high and they dont know wtf it means. lol

  • lol that's great, best songs came from that

  • LOLOLOLOL I love how you self-proclaimed hip-hop cats are SO stuck in the past to the point that nothing after 2000 is any good. These cats actually got some skills. If this song came out from some old-school group as opposed to The Knux, you dickriders would all be like, "OMG THAT SHIT IS FIRE THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST", and I'd STILL be laughing at your punk asses.

Maybe you fake ass wannabe heads should learn real hip-hop before you start talking about it.

  • I agree with you..i am a hip-hip head..the problem is that people like me like to say nothing beyond 2000 is good..which is nonsense...Kanye, The Knux...shit even Game's last album was not bad

  • lol. ppl are dumb. song is def not about coffee. it's about girls.

  • lol nubz

  • is that del?

  • sorry!!!!!!!!!! zigzagzig40 THE kNUX r signed to a major label.

  • yeah its different but so are alot of underground rap/hip hop acts today that are not signed to major labels this is underground pop.I am old enough to take my strong drink without it being watered down these days.

  • thay would be way beter if there blues influince was more promnint

  • Do some of the people commenting actually believe the song is about coffee?

  • Yo supasoke dude, I was just joking. The Knux are sick.

  • Wtf? I agree with the soulja boy kid. Why is this song about fucking coffee?

  • ............why not

  • if anyone could tell me where i can download this song without the lyrics it would be much appreciated

  • Mm get a job and look for the CD instead? :]

  • LMAOOOOO

    r u fuckin serious?

  • that beat is hot

  • idc about the lyrics, the music is cool

  • this song sucks balls its about nothing

i miss the old school shit

    2008 killed hip hop

  • just accept it, mainstream success ruins every genre. theyll never beat the wu just like greenday will never beat the bad brains

  • this song is pretty fuckin awesome man

what are you talkin about it?

now soulja cunt on the other hand..

THAT'S what gives rap a bad name.

  • no, these guys are just rapping about whatever, the problem is all these guys trying to be the best thing out there are not just "be".

  • you fucking slow ass idiot it's about beautiful women... they need a "fresh capuccino"

  • not bad for a couple of new awlins' bro's

  • i read an article in blender about these guys, they are not bad at all.

the first guys sounds and has the flow of big boi.

  • Yeah, that's called knowing how to dress. They're fucking sharp dressers.

  • haha

  • you guys are awesome

  • wow, NOTHING like De La, not even close. This song is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, for pop music it's quality

  • lol bang bang is better then this one but this one is steal really good

  • the next outkast right here

  • when is this in harold and kumar

  • not bad but... too much focus on style, and substance suffers. In the same category as the Cool Kids. A lot of fun but you forget about it after a minute. Worth a listen for sure

  • Really good !! But I like Bang Bang better.

  • I liked them better when they were called De La Soul.

  • That is funny! So true!

  • Congratulations, you found two hip hop bands that are similar, and to prove you're vast superiority of Hip hop knowledge you used a not-so-clever cliche. I liked you better when you were called egotistical dick.

If you weren't so focused on thinking you're awesome you would realize how much more gritty and dirty these guys are compared to the legendary De La Soul catchy tunes that will always bring a smile to my face.

  • WORD UP! It's soooo dirty & gritty, i can't stand it!!The Artist Formerly Known As E. Dick!

  • tight as hell. i don't really like hip hop, but this is really cool. hell of a lot better than most hip hop you hear on the radio.

  • Because the shit on the radio is NOT hip hop, real hip hop doesn't really get airplay. It's a sad state of affairs truthfully. If I heard this shit on the radio, I'd be bumping it all the way down the block.

  • True Story... I just heard about this band today.... sampled their CD on iTunes and immediately bought it... This is exactly the kind of music that needs to be aired on the radio... Their ENTIRE CD is great

  • Bro, Hip-Hop is dead. Im sorry to say it, I really am. The last good Hip Hop album that came out was either Nas-of Q-tip. Truth is that alot of peeps are trying to bring it back but, Tha most you can do with it is copy. These dude are okay, but there will never be the same hip hop as before...*sniffle sniffle*

  • hold up there... hip hop aint dead yet, its still up and going. just a new "twist" in the world of hip hop. trust me i know. DJ TrainWreck aka kagenui21

  • Don't, it's already depressing enough to see fools like Soulja Boy making millies while most of the good shit are unsigned unknowns. Talking about their shit is hip hop...they wouldn't know hiphop if it was sitting on their faces and spinnin.

I have faith that someday when "radio" possibly isn't the best media to convey music, the best of the best will surface and rise to hip hop god-dom

  • You took the words right outta my mouth, but think about who actually runs the Hip Hop world... Rich white men.

  • Hip Hop is dead... but it cant ever really die. The hip hop based on the current profit generating models of selling cds and promoting on BET/MTV or whatever is dying... and its a good thing. The internet and consequent music sharing is causing a new type of hip hop to be born, one not based on pure promotions but based on pure word of mouth popularity, which is how it used to be when the BEST hip hop music was made.

Yea, hip hop is gonna die, but it will rise from the ashes like the phoenix.

  • Its not dead yet. Go listen to Lupe Fiasco. There's some new kids coming out to that have a chance to turn it around.

  • I think that's what he's tryin to say, buddy

  • and atmosphere.

  • but blackalicious is alot better tho lol

  • reminds me of blackalicious something that would be on his blazing arrow album

  • just saw bang bang video on tv thought it was decent song but the verses were real strong so i wanted to check em out and im pleasantly surprised this is the second song ive herd by them and i like it a lotbetter than bang bang the instrumental and everything im gonna look into them more...they are nothing like outkast maybe they listen to outkast but then again who doesnt?

  • Didn't like the song too much, but I'm not going to judge them based on one song. I'll give a listen to more of their material. And people please stop comparing them to Outkast, they sound nothing alike. They sound like The Knux, nobody else.

    **Sigh.

::Goes back to bumping Jedi Mind Tricks ::

  • and before any of ya'll comment, i am white, but race has never been an issue with me and music, and for a matter of fact ive gone more into rock lately than i have into rap, i liked rap in my teen years, but since then ive grown more towards rock music, but when i hear good music, i just close my eyes and let it flow trough me, it could be black origin, white origin, red or yellow skin origin, if its good its good and noone can take that away, no matter what they say here. eos = end of story

  • I agree with you :D

  • these dudes are very similar to outkast if you ask me, a kinda new sound playing on the views of the youth, its great to see artist breaking the mould, but they need not imagine that they are totally original, just check out outkast and you will see who these guys draw influence from. good music though, no doubt

  • us so called "niggers" own u

  • this songs tight, nice beat just chill lay back toke that j

  • funny you said that, im juss smokin a bowl and came across this page lol. got no papers :(

  • haha harold and kumar

  • Bang! Bang! is way better than this

  • it suxs

  • this garbage as shit

  • what do you mean man

  • This is good, but the album seems to tail off about half way through. Still their average is still a lot better than most's best.

  • "The Knux" what the fuck is that. * They bring it on themselves *

  • These kats are from New Orleans so there's an extensive list possibilities as influences!

  • True Hip Hop is variety! Not just gangsta,Club, Intellectual, Pop, Alternative, or Conscious rap,but the culmination of these sub -genres.

  • who hears the OutKast influence?! thanks rolling stones for featuring this group in your magazine!!! awesome guitar riffs.

  • sounds like the 90s rawness, sooo goood, i dig it, i dig it a lot

  • You can hear the portishead influence.

  • i can't tell them apart lol. great music though

  • this is what hiphop is supposed to be in my eyes- i want to go further and say that this is the first hiphop- track since pharcyde's album "Labincalifornia" that i do really love. i MUST have this cd!

  • i dont know why but these guys remind of run dmc

  • Probably because they're actually good.

Not to say there haven't been a lot of good similair artists between now and then - but few have been operating on this level.

There's definitely a variety of influences in the sound and DMC could very easily be one.

  • This version is different from the version I heard was better. He was talkin'g about Cali girls and venice beach. WTF?

  • These guys are dope still very different kinda like a mixture of N.E.R.D. & Outkast. I can see this track blowing up in the clubs keep doin your thing Knux.

  • this is some dope ish

  • they sound like big boi and dre 3000 from outkast

  • omg! i love you krispy!

  • fresh fresh cappuccino with the moca twist :D !

  • Im addicted too your style of groves and you know how too jam them out! Very fresh and original!;-)

    peaceouTy!

    TAMMpON

  • DarkJedi202 your retarded lol.. make no sense.. shoot yourself in the foot

  • everything but the chorus

  • @ bigfootFLOWs

dud pac an big did gangsarap, this isn't, you can't compare it

  • they got tht 90's swag, and are one of the few artists tht bring real hip hop not wayne/ souja boy garbage.

  • I like the beats in their songs and everything sounds good until the hooks, The choruses are really beyond horrible.

  • its ok.. the hook is wack, but the rap itself isn't too bad.

  • i was at the show last night in hollywood at club cinespace. they are garbage. they used everyone else beats. and used all of das efx ha stick haha stickum. that shit was wack. they only had like 30 people in the crowd. best part of the night was when the dj was playing real old skool hip hop. and some guy got fucked up bye the bouncers for jumping on stage. i think he peed his pants.

  • haha. they used other peoples beats? sounds like 90% of every hip hop artist to me.

  • harold and kumar .....dude...i just love it!

    epic

  • Lupe! Niiiice, I agree. I'm not big into rap or hiphop, but I do enjoy listening to Lupe Fiasco and now I find myself liking The Knux as well.

  • If you like The Knux, check out new artist E-HIGH, he has new singles out called Move and Change Ur Position.

  • mr. shakur and mr. smalls would hate this mess.

  • Good, cause this stuff reminds me of old school rap, ya know when the game was fun and not about guns and bitches.

So Gangster rap is bullshit, and this sounds more like what rap used to be than anything Tupac or Biggie did.

  • Lol. You can't discredit Tupac or Biggie though, they were the best at what they did. You CAN discredit all of these new "studio" wannabee Biggies and Pacs making all of this garbage. The Knux, Lupe, Jay Electronica, Charles Hamilton, and many others are a breath of fresh air though.

The Knux are from the NO by the way

    New Orleans Stand Up !!!

  • your retarded lol.. make no sense.. shoot yourself in the foot

  • I'm sorry yall but this is wack! I can even picture record execs brainstorming on this one....

  • smoking weed and listenin to this is a great combo

  • hmmm, really? lemme try. =]

  • i want a dookie chain

  • damn ! time warp back to the original old school! I like it - much better than the rest of the crap out these days!!!

  • de la bombe ^_^

  • fresh

  • well this music is certainly better than the other shitty rap music like soulja boy.

  • These guys are about to be the next big thing. I'm so calling it. Bang Bang is a hot track, too.
