  • We should be allowed to defend our property from scum like them...he makes it sound like the scum braking in are the victims..

  • They got what they deserved, breaking in to someones house, id shoot them too...

  • I head about this case some years ago at the firing range. I thought it was just more gun lovers taking the piss out of England because of their atrocious, but as it seems the UK is not only anti-gun but anti- self defense. What a fucking joke of country were THIEVING little cunts are the victims, and the victims of their crimes are the bad guys.

  • 1:13 - 1:16! It was a simple burglary that went tragically wrong? He said that as if the criminal scum who invaded his home were actually allowed to steel his property and possibly subject him to violence. God this country has lost it's balls it really has.

  • I live in the next county over from this farmer and policing is VERY slow. People are burgled, beaten up and sometimes murdered and the police wait until the burglars leave until they come round. After this people have learnt to say over the phone 'dont worry I've shot him' for the police to quickly arrive. Not to arrest the burglar but on the idea that you could have shot someone. Utter nonsense

  • Fair play to Tony Martin these 3 scumbags got what they deserved in my opinion. If this happened in the USA the police wouldnt bat an eyelid, and the innocent guy who had been burgled 3 times before by the same group of people certainly would not have been sent to jail,

    Our country is a joke

  • Governments don't want their citizens to be able to defend themselves; they want them reliant upon the state for their every needs.

If a burglar comes into your house you should point blank be allowed to shoot them. If they die it's their own bloody fault.

  • God Bless America.

  • If you chose a criminal carrier, it can kill you. Why would anyone want to change that?

  • if he did that in the united states he would be a hero

  • if i find you in my house, you are going to die

  • Britain has been hijacked by a liberal elite who rule this country and deny people the right to protect themselves from a growing, lawless underclass.

  • Personally, I believe one should be allowed to do whatever is needed to incapacitate a burglar, including kill if it is necessary (i.e the burglars are armed). However, even if it wasn't necessary to kill them, I believe there should be no charges pressed for someone killing a burglar, as long as it can be proven that they were not welcome into the house (which is easy). Burglars should also have any and all rights while on the property voided.

  • I live in the US. In my state, and others, if someone enters your home, you can kill them. You can shoot them because we can own guns. In other states the burgler doesn't even have to enter your home, just be on your property. There was news about a man shooting a couple thieves coming out of the basement of a neighbor, and it was legal. It doesn't stop crime, but at least people can defend themselves.

  • My God what a dirty filthy slob he was. If only the burglars knew he was a dirty worthless slob

  • @teewoods I'd be a slob any day (it isn’t against the law) instead of being like the low life p-taking thieving scum that invaded his privacy.

  • The reporter says, "it was a simple burglary that went tragically wrong." I`d say it was a burglary that went very well !

  • Burglars should be considered outlaws during the course of their crime. Ie put outside the protection of the law. Fair game - if you will.

The law as it stands gives householders the right to use `reasonable force.` That is vague. Lets put the matter beyond dispute. Making burglars outlaws would do just that. Burgle a house, and you get what`s coming - Hell, if Hell it must be.

  • Someone I once knew woke to find burglars in his house (this is in the UK)-one ran off and he caught and kicked the shit out of the other one, I mean really kicked the shit outta him. The police came, and an officer pulled him aside in private and said "you saw light glinting off something that you thought was a knife didnt you? You incapacitated him and then found that it was the bracelet of a silver watch" he said erm yeah....reasonable force no charges-seems the police agree

  • @bigpmc Yeah that's a little something called selective enforcement and it all depends on which policeman you deal with and their own personal views + a little bit of whether you come across as someone they like or not.

  • I totally agree with mr Martin's actions-I would do the same, and it pleases me that he has never shown remorse-why should he? Bottom line-if they weren't trying to steal from him they wouldnt have been shot-end of story

Its only limp wristed liberals that support his murder charge-the victim wasnt a lovely lad-he was a fucking thief who deserved what he got and no doubt would have gone on to cost the country thousands to keep him locked up over the years

  • Did the British vote on their firearm laws? I'm shocked they put up with them. Or, perhaps, they are popular there?

  • bleak house ! why would anyone go to bleak house for robbery...

  • @lajeclow111 They were bullying cowards picking on what they thought was a defenceless man who lived on his own (like they'd done so many times before with Mr Martin). I doubt they were really interested in stealing anything of worth.

  • that man was home all the time why would anyone enter his house when he had a gun. what is therento steal in that broken down stinky house or yard

  • @ad8369 Many young thugs do such things, this guy had had the same thing done to him time & again - not because he had anything worth taking but more because they thought he was just another frail old guy they could bully & threaten - guess they didn't recon on him having his 'great equalizer.'

  • that man was home all the time why would anyone enter his house when he had a gun

  • The British Injustice system is so moronic they think that an ordinary citizen with absolutely zero experience of violence (nether seeing nor being involved in it) can then judge, in the blind panic of fear, oh..let's only use REASONABLE force to defend myself. You will instinctively do anything and everything you can if someone invades the peace of your home where you are minding your own business and harming no-one. British judges are clever people but they lack wisdom and good judgement.

  • @jaquie321 Yes looking at it in this simple one dimensional fashion of one of those who support gun laws – yes they always mean well but, in the end, they only help the tyrants kill more people in the long run. Learn your history and why the 2nd amendment was created in the first place. Mainly try and comprehend the line "..being necessary to the security of a FREE STATE, the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

  • The way Tony Martin was treated by the British Criminal Justice system was the final straw for me. Plod's a waste of space. The victim is blamed. I flew the UK coop never to return.

    Jack, Japan Alps

  • Burglary went wrong? I'd say it went well.

Those bastards have no right to enter someones house.

Who cares if they get shot? They got what they deserve!

You all have a big mouth, but I bet you all wish you had a gun when someone enters your house at night.

Maybe they have guns, what the hell are you gonna do, wait untill they walk up to you and shoot you?

They shouldn't be there in the first place, they deserve to die.

We have been protecting our homes and families for ages!

  • @AnubisEvalyna Ahhh at last… someone talking some sense again. I think it went 'wrong' for the burglars though & that's what the title means. But I agree with you on some of the pathetic anti self defence comments on here. They're all from people who've never had to stand up to such threatening things happening to them so most of them aren't talking from experience and if any of them are then they probably did cower away in their closets like the pathetic cowering helpless sheep that they are.

  • @crutley2

Hehe, yeah I know. Was a little joke about the "going wrong". ;)

A former boss of mine were I used to work during school vacation once stood face to face with burglars in his shop.

They were pointing machine guns at his head!

His son and me then relased their Rottweiler at the back of the store, the dog attacked the burglars and they went running, escaping in their vehicle.

The first thing my boss did was buying a gun, legally. It's loaded all the time.

  • @AnubisEvalyna

If we wouldn't have been there to release the dog he would be dead now.

Cause the money was dropped off at the bank a few minutes before that, and these guys were NOT kidding!

This is reallity people, once you had a gun pointed at your head you know what to do!

The police won't save your ass in time, you can forget that!

Self defence is a right we should all have! These guys need to be stopped before they kill innocent people.

They could even rape your wife and kids!

  • @AnubisEvalyna That's because criminals are cowards and they only understand one thing - violence. You're only real defence against criminals (including the tyrants who try to get into government that the 2nd amendment was originally designed for) is not a police man who is at least 20 minutes away but equal or greater violence to what they have. Those who don't understand this are just easy pickings for criminals.

  • @realinterrobang Hahahaha. You’re the authoritarian supporter and you don’t even realise it. If you think the state should rule your life then you are an authoritarian supporter. Those who support gun laws and anti self defence measures are authoritarian supporters. Get your definitions right before you comment again… A dictionary might help!

  • I heard that he eats babies and trades there socks for Twix bars

  • @ktownend LOL! Who ya talking about. Mr Martin or the Judge?? (jk)

  • Tont martin is a national treasure and if your reading this Tony, your very welcome to stay with me and my family if you visit Edinburgh! FUCKING GYPOS ARE SCUM

  • This is the only way to treat pikeys. They will never learn.

  • yeah! he shot them in the back while they were running away.. Real brave.

  • @restlessrissole It is not 'real brave' its called Real Justice!

  • The only crime here is that he didnt kill the other burglar too.

  • What a legend! Inspiration to us all!

  • I know how it feels to be constantly burgled, the feeling eats you up inside and makes you so angry and sick.

The Law needs to start defending victims who've had their houses broken into instead of protecting those inconsiderate burglars.

  • Reasonable force when there is a home invasion is, death. this guy is a hero

  • There are lines you have to draw though. If you are genuinely being burgled then by all means i see no problem with shooting the intruders but say if it was a young 6 yeard old who had accidentally wondered onto you're property and didn't realize what he was doing. But these people he shot were scumbags though anyway and its a shame he didn't finish off all of them. HIs biggest mistake was notifying the police and he should of just disposed of the body

  • he should of just blasted them both and buried them and not phoned the police. if i had to defend my life i would go to all lengths to ensure i protected my freedom. the government don't care if you are defending ur life they just want to use you for a legal case.

  • This country is a disgrace! It really pisses me off the way the press call Tony Martin a recusive eccentric. To make people think he is some kind of a freak or weirdo. No one has the right to steal or damage his property like that, no matter what his house looks like.

  • Unbelivable that because he protected his property he got his gun license taken away! Kings Lynn police are pretty useless and uncaring it seems from the experinces friends of mine have had in dealing with them.

  • A couple of years ago two men invaded my elderly parents home at 2am in the morning. Fortunately my mother managed to call police before they go into the house but when they got in they attacked my parents. My 75 year old mom managed to get a fire poker and beat the hell out of one of the guys causing him to suffer a fractured skull while the other one beat my father to the floor. The police quickly arrived and arrested the two guys. They got five years in prison for that.

  • @celticlofts I just wish your mom had a revolver then she could have taken both of their knee caps out and saved your dad from a beating

  • @crutley2 kneecaps? how bout their brains. If somebody is attacking me in my house im not aiming at kneecaps.

  • @deanfaust Brains are good, if you live in a country where you're self defence has not been made illegal.

  • @crutley2 No disrespect to your country, some parts of the US are the same but do feel there is a failed legal system when a criminals rights are above a victims in this case?

  • @crutley2 Mmmmm... brains good.....

Sorry! Just trying out my zombie impersonation. Won't happen again. LOL Cheers!

  • @AirstripBum Yeah there's plenty of unarmed defencless brains in this country for zombies to prey upon.

  • @crutley2 True enough! I'm so glad I live in the Great Republic of Texas. This wouldn't have even been an issue here. Tony would have gotten a medal instead of prison time.

  • @AirstripBum Most people now think you have mental health problems if you think this way in the UK. Such outbursts would get you strange looks as if there is something wrong with you.

  • @crutley2 Perhaps you should start something like we have here in Texas called the Lone Star Citizens Defense League and organize the lobbying effort to get your rights back. It's at wwwdotlonestarcdldotorg. We lost our rights 140 years ago after the Civil War. I never got that name. It wasn't very "civil". Anyway, just a suggestion. It was started by a guy in West Texas in May of last year and we've made amazing headway despite being so new on the scene. Yup! Something is wrong with me! LOL

  • @AirstripBum Not worth it. The UK is already overrun with Zombies. Except these ones are still alive and they all hate taking personal responsibility for their own self defence. They'd rather keep themselves helpless and disarmed so they can be easy pickings the next time the government goes tyrannical.

  • @celticlofts If it were up to me, they would have gotten life and thrown into the darkest pit - and I'd have thrown away the key. It makes me ill they only received five years. Violent criminals should never, ever be released. In fact, if it were up to me, I'd skip handing out prison sentences altogether and just toss them into the lava of an erupting volcano.

  • its a real pity that he didnt kill the other one.

  • it comes down to this...Are you willing to flip a coin with your family or your own life?

Are you going to take that risk that they arent going to hurt you or your family on the basis that they 'might just want to get away'

some idiots might like to play dice with their familys lives, but i sure as shit wont.

  • Does anyone know the whereabouts of Brendan Fearon? I want to speak to him about a burglary in the 90's.

  • I do - but i'm not about to post it on here! :)

  • Mr. Martin should have been given a medal for shooting this disgusting thieving gypsy filth its unfortunate the second gypsy burglar was not killed too and society would not have to support these thieving gypsy parasites!

  • @xdaxda1 & he should have been given a five grand bounty for shooting them, like they do in Texas when it comes to burglars invading your house.

  • @xdaxda1 Does it make a difference if they were gypsies or not? I dont care who you are, if you come into my home with the intention of harming me im going to shoot you.

  • Really interesting case and video - thanks for posting - shame about the editing - i.e. the shakey close-up of Martin with a sythe - "AH, QUICK, HE'S THE GRIM REAPER!" Media organisations can be so bullshitty.

  • Tony Martin- a true English hero.

  • when is a burglary not something gone tragically wrong?! It's always a tragedy for the people being burgled.

Anyway, human nature dictates in these situations. Defend what is yours.

Kill and go to prison, or be killed and be dead forever.
