agree airport is great to get in and out of quickly, but that is the only good thing about it. a complete dump, nothing to do. i was there in sept 2010. our flight left on time. but a TUI flight had an 11 hour delay. stuck there with no facilities. MCO busier but more to do
orlando is certainly a really impressive place, sanford airport isn't - been thru both MCO & SFB, SFB is certainly quicker 2 pass thru from disembarking 2 driving away in the rental car, which is the good thing, but the ONLY good thing in my view! it's a another 30 miles (approx) further north to start with, & especially if there are any outbound / return delays, because of the lack of facilities (shops, eateries, entertainment, etc) & more so on a summer w'end - Boring! MCO much better I think
I love the 747, Been on this Aircraft several times to Sanford. Such a shame that TCD have got rid of TF-AME in favour of smaller 767s untill they get new Airbus A300s in 2009. It was one of the oldest 747s still in service so I guess it was time for retirement.

Atthis airport a few weeks ago when I was on Vacation in Orlando small airport but nice too I had a great time then back in Manchester Airport :(
