If you consider the fact that WWE today has no competition (to the point where it treats its nearest competitor in TNA as a regional promotion) and the fact that the WWE is making more money today despite the low ratings (through corporate partnerships, cinematic overtures, etc,), then you must realize that the impact of a 2.9 rating is only superficial at best.
