May i ask two questions?

1. You mentioned that you leave the aloe gel on your face for 10 mins. So after you washed your face, what do you put on your face? Cuz my understand is that aloe suck all the oil on your face, so you need to apply moisturizer after that?

2. I do have aloe plant but it has smaller leaves. Is it ok to cut piece by piece daily like you? so i can use a few day per leave? Some people said to get the best out of it, it's better to use aloe leave as soon as it's been cut. Thx

I will apply moisturizer after the aloe mask. I've not idea regards to aloe sucking oil from face.

Yes it will be better to cut the leave as and when you need it. I will usually cut away the dry outer portion and cut a new fresh piece and keep the remanding leave in the fridge.

Hi Shadele17, I will cut away the brown area before using the rest of the area. I will only keep it in the fridge not more than a week and I will discard it after that. I believe the potency will reduce if you keep too long.

i find it is so bitter, and how do u store it. i find when you put the stalk in the fridge it turns red/brown. the bitterness reduces the longer u keep it but i dont know if that reduces the potency. i get it naturally from my own garden, i live in the tropics.

@RiiZa382 I guess it's because it's natural. I leave it on for not more than 30 minutes. If the itchiness persists, stop using it totally.

@RiiZa382 : She said keep it on for 10minutes then rince off. And its alright if it itches it happens naturaly! But if you don`t want to wash it off, then I suggest you rubb a lit bit on your cheeks, and forhead then use your fingers to blend it around your face!

@RiiZa382 I don't know why your face would itch; aloe vera should be very soothing. When you apply aloe vera on the skin, you should only use the clear liquid of the plant. Never apply the yellow liquid, as it is an irritant. Maybe that's the cause or you skin just doesn't react well to aloe vera.
