if you install Cyanogen Mod 6/7 on the Desire you will have 18 fps with quake 3 :)

hi, i just managed to get it to working on my HTC legend but im having problems with setting the keys up how can i make it so i can look around and move at the same time.... cannot bind any of my buttons except the optical button and the screen but they are the same keys.. any suggestions

@Welocy yes if you have it rom'd and installed the lagfix for the samsung galaxy s you wil absolutley have 40 fps ++++

desire's 3d chip seems too underpowered for this kind of 3d games, unfortunately...

in comparisation with my nokia n82, it loads fast as hell due to 1ghz processor and loads of ram, but the game on the other hand is very slow because of the weak 3d accelerator...

it's a shame, because i think it would be possible to steer the game in playable way on the desire...

how is it possible that ir runs flawlessly on htc nexus one and it is unplayable here . considerng that desire has the same or even a little better hardware and it runs on the same OS . ??

@car0vnik i have it running just fine on my X10, its just that first level for some reason i think the teleporter thing drops the framerate like hell. On all the other maps however it runs sweet as a cupcake
