The hulk has always been apart of my life, I got into bodybuilding in my teens because of Lou Ferrigno... No-one could replace Bill or Lou.. if a series was remade I couldnt think of anyone to fill either of these mens shoes... although I do have lots of ideas for new stories.

When I began watching the Incredible Hulk as a 6 year old back in 78-79, Bill Bixby won me over in less than a heartbeat. I remember wishing he could be my dad. Mr. Bixby just seemed to have that effect on people.

Lou doesn't seem to have been able to overcome his awkardness. His shyness or whatever it is. All the videos I've seen of him like this when people try to film him, he always acts like he doesn't care or like he wants it to be over quickly.

If you know his life story, you would know that he developed a partial loss of hearing when he was a child. In his day there weren't really any hearing aids or surgical procedures that could have restored his hearing, also the deaf community as we know today virtually didn't exist back then. When I began watching the Incredible Hulk as a 6 year old back in 78-79, Bill Bixby won me over in less than a heartbeat. I remember wishing he could be my dad. Mr. Bixby just seemed to have that effect on people.

Lou doesn't seem to have been able to overcome his awkardness. His shyness or whatever it is. All the videos I've seen of him like this when people try to film him, he always acts like he doesn't care or like he wants it to be over quickly.
At first I thought it was just like that when people filmed him but when I met him about a year ago in Sweden at one of these events, he was exactly the same. seemed uncomfortable all the time. Maybe he's misunderstood easily, he was very nice though.

If you know his life story, you would know that he developed a partial loss of hearing when he was a child. In his day there weren't really any hearing aids or surgical procedures that could have restored his hearing, also the deaf community as we know today virtually didn't exist back then. So he basically felt as an outcast and unfortunately he's still affected by that psychological hurdle. Nevertheless, he has been and still is the MAN though...
