i learned how to play this by watching someone play. i don't really know how many chords there are but on mine there are 3. when me and my friend jam, him on the guitar and me on the piano, it sounds fine. but whatever sounds close enough ^-^

it is the sunday morning chords..in fact lol every song pretty much has this same type of thing in there at one point or another.

its called a 2-5-1 chord progression and that fourth chord that ur talkin bout is the 1 chord goin up a half step to its flat 2 diminished chord. so in this example it'd be a n *A dim.* chord

but playing piano and guitar is a different story.

i play guitar and i just started playing piano this year. its pretty challenging to me because timing is hard.

what do you mean by a version that is simple and clean? isn't this version simple and clean? its only 3 chords. you just have to practice and have an ear for how you wanna play it because there's different ways to play the chords. but i suggest you listen to the acoustic version of the song and try to play it in that way.
