Beautiful images. Those plumbicon tubes really look nice. I just recently started a collection- mostly saticon cams- and they don't look nearly as aesthetically pleasing as this. Do you think the u-matic tape has much to do with that soft look vs beta or svhs?

I thought the HL-79E was exclusively plumbicon, but I checked out the specs and it seems they put a whole range of plumbicons and saticons in there.
