um no, domestic partnerships are still legal here and so are all the rights and benefits of marriage. all Prop 8 did was keep the word "marriage" between a man and a woman. believe me i actually LIVE in California

Did you see all the gays in West Hollywood out protesting on Hollywood Blvd last night and today thousands of gays were out in front of a Mormon church protesting?
Will these same West Hollywood gays protest black churches in South Central Los Angeles since 70% of blacks voted YES on Prop 8 to restore traditional marriage?
Obama has said hes against gay "marriage" but all for gay civil unions. I think what people miss is that when these people hear gay "marriage" they think walking down the aisle at a church and saying your I do's. THAT is what they are against, they don't think churches should be forced to marry a gay couple if they don't want to, which is fair (dunno if its right, but its fair).
I don't agree with him being fucking wishy washy either, AT ALL! But in his defense I think him and Obama are against gay marriage, but obviously think its up to the courts to decide.
I just think during the debates he didn't wanna sound liberal, which could have hurt his compagn. But really they support ir 100% Yay!! Our new president of hope!! OBAMA!!

Biden is a Catholic, Obama a Christian. Within Obama's faith he believes marriage is between a man and a woman.
As a President and as a VP, Obama and Biden are, "Sworn to uphold the Constitution."
They both fought against an amendment to the Constitution to in regard to gay marriage.
Both would have voted No on 8.
