Yeah, sadly, that's really the only truly popular Marvel property in Japan, mainly because of the tokusatsu Spider-Man show from 1978.

don't suppose you'd know anythign about how D.C does there? i've always found it strange that japanese show so little interest in great heroes. Anime characters do tend to be flashier but they lack depth and iconic power. I suppose if we hadn't grown up on spiderman and batman and justice league we might feel differently about it though.

I know this was written 7 months ago (how come I didn't get a notification when it was posted? O_o) but I've wondered that myself. I know Marvel's properties were mostly a fad over there in the mid-90s (when Capcom released X-Men and Marvel Super Heroes) and it was to the point where Capcom sponsored the X-Men cartoon there, but the hype died down. However Spidey remained popular.

I would think if there was a popular DC character it'd be Batman......

Yeah, when she was revealed, I thought it was kind of odd, since she's not a very notable character. Why not use Mystique, or She-Hulk.

You kidding? X-23 even has her own ongoing. Also remember that she first appeared in the X-men evolution cartoon and was added into the comics because she was popular.

She also currently has her own ongoing book. Adding X-23 was the logical thing to do.

Besides, Who says She-Hulk or Ms.Marvel aren't in? There are still plenty of characters to reveal.

yeah, but.......well, X-23 is kind of well-known I guess, I'm starting to get used to her. She also had a cameo in Hulk vs. Wolverine in a flash back, that shows a bunch of tanks and one is labeled "X-23"

I fail to recognize sarcasm and many other things because my thinking is extremely direct and linear and I'm also usually thinking about several things in my head, which can be distracting.

Very similar moveset, but he seems more "complete" this time around. Just another one I'll have to add to the list of characters to try out. Can't wait for this game!
