Don't go taking the morale high-ground. You only managed to eliminate slavery after building have your countries infrastructure with slave labour. Not only that, but Blacks in the US are still mainly in a lower socio-economic bracket. You no longer have Chattell slavery - you just have wage slavery instead: People who earn so little whilst working full-time they they might as well be slaves anyway.
