I would've never believed from that height he couldn't get the speed to pull out. I think he mightve freaked and froze. Maybe in the dive he didn't throw in throttle. That might've saved him. He did not have the airspeed to gain control (and first and foremost he needed that). I believe the throttle could've changed that. Unfortunately, he didn't get a second chance. That's sad, and very unfortunate. Yes, I am a pilot.
Either that or there was a malfunction in the mechanics of the aircraft. GOD BLESS'EM
