"Kabuliwali" or "Man from Kabul". It's an adaptation of a story by Rabindranath Tagore, the same writer whose work director Satyajit Ray adapted so many times. I can't recall who directed this. But if you like Ray's films, you would probably like this as well.  It's filled with delicate nuances and the subject matter deals with xenophobia. Get it on VHS through inter-library loan.

Judging from your favorites, perhaps you would have preferred anthropomorphic landscapes, wall to wall color, sheer abstraction. I think music has more interpretive possibilities visually. No one would deny Colleen's child-like quality. In that regard, I think this video at least retains that.

Nah, I like a lot of ''organic'' videos, and I do agree that this music sounds nostalgic in that childhood sorta way. This footage doesn't give me that feel. For starters, I think this track should have a video in color. Our taste in music really isn't that different, tho.
