I wash my hair every two days, and I don't use heat on it. Since I dye my hair alot, and it's frizzy and poofy naturally, when my hair is about 60-70% dry, I brush it all out, put in leave in conditioner, and braid it tightly to keep it from going out of control, or getting too big to the point where I can't brush it (which had happened before.)

@adamissofreakinhot LOL! This may be weird, and I'm not an expert on hair or anything, but it's a bit healthy for your hair to be greasy. Let it be greasy for at least 1 day or at least 2 days. Of course, people will talk about your "greasy hair" behind your back, but trust me, it'll pay off. Once, I didnt wash my hair for 3 days. It actually payed off, my hair is now really healthy AND itsstriahgt so I don't have to flat iron it everyday. ALSO, its less tangly when I wake up in the morning! :D

Great tips, but NEVER brush your hair when it's wet. It'll cause severe breakage. If you absolutely need to brush before ot dries, use a wide toothed comb.
