This song could be representitive of every city every place, it reeks youthful lust and desire that every teen experiences, the rush you feel when your new boyfriend stickes his hand up your shirt for the first time , or you feel his hard penis against your pelvis when your making out for the first time, innocent young love, that first time you start to experience sex and forever love that at that time you think will last forever. This song brings me back to that time i miss it.

This film is like no other. The scary thing is it has happened. You dont have to live a horrible life to wanna kill yourself. The virgin sucides just go to show that. You can be a blonde, pretty, well brought up girl with a loving family in the suburbs & still be emotionally unstable. Back 5 years ago when I was a senoir in Hs. Our homecoming Queen hung herself before graduation. Everyone was shocked, But I wasn't...Cuz even though we only spoke a few times I could see she was not very happy.

I'm 14, and I used to live in Grosse Pointe. To me, the song and the movie really hit a string with me. they both capture the mystery and unattainability that youth and adolescence experience. The beauty is hidden under superficiality and is forgotten once we all turn adults. The movie portrays Grosse Pointe almost perfectly, and this song is like the background music for the city and its people. Anyway, to make a long story short... Fantastic.

I'm a 23 year old girl and although I felt much too old watching it, there was a spark about the movie that drew me in, made me remember my high school years of being sheltered. It's fun to remember what moments of youth were like through the eyes of these beautiful unique girls and to remember what it was like experiencing some of life's biggest moments for the first time. There's just SOMETHING about this movie I love.

Pretty much all of the album Moon Safari is brilliant, but specifically La Femme D'Argent, All I Need and New Star In The Sky are perfect for mellow, chilled out summer evenings.

By the way, anyone who likes Air should give Sebastien Tellier a listen. Just paste: "la ritournelle-sebastien tellier (LONGER MIX) " into the youtube bar.  It's not really a "dreamy" song, but it's become one of those songs i can't stop listening to. I hope you enjoy! B-)
