God, it's a movie! It's supposed to have drama. Teddy slowplayed AA in the first scene. Mike knows he got outplayed and will try to out-outplay him in the future. Plus the comment. There is only ONE hand for Teddy to have to make that comment. If he had A7 or A10 in that situation, then Mike could be holding AA and have him crushed. Plus everyone with the least bit of poker knowledge knows that the hand with the highest probability of cracking AA is 89 suited.

Theres no reason to say he would have raised preflop with aces because, if you remember, he didnt raise preflop with aces in the first hand of the movie either, when he also had position on Mike. Ya know I thought about what Teddy had...top two pair could work, but why call a preflop raise with 10-7 in heads up. Most likely he had a mid pocket pair and flopped trips, hence the aggressive betting and all in on the river. Either that or he has absolutley nothing and was posturing the whole time. You'd figure that if Teddy had a strong hand he'd want to get as much value as possible, so why act like you had him dominated through the whole hand.
