  • "Yeah but you could be on Mars or Venus or Saturn!" The fuck is this guy on? That's one of the dumbest things I've heard on this show. xD

  • I have faith that this guy is an idiot.

  • fatouche99 There is another possibility, Tube might be Sc@$%ing up. and comments meant for someone else might have been rerouted to you.

  • fatouche99 That makes two of us, I may have made a comment a while ago to which you relied by parroting what I said. That is where a RE comes in handy. It refreshes the memory. I get responses to things I said and have forgotten all the time. Maybe you do as well. Have a beautiful day my friend.

  • XTJimbo2010 Sounds like you agree with me but I could be wrong. Without a RE I have no way of knowing for certain.

  • @TheDano1947 I agree with you, but it's not just the Christians who don't think.

  • @XTJimbo2010 True but only two religions impose themselves on others and only one currently goes door to door pushing their poison.

  • God Ra sis boom ba!

  • Dis guy muss be a intylecshel

  • How can he not understand it? Especially that verse? The bible is pretty understandable, other than the obvious contradictions. I never needed a minister to explain it to me. Why do I, an Atheist, know more about the bible than this Christian? That's often the way it goes.

  • @MsLilithJS That's because christians don't think, they believe without question or proof. They do what they're told, they hear scripture and quote but they never question it. That's the one thing you have over theist.

  • @TheDano1947 Perhaps the same could be said of all religions.

  • Wow, I notice that creationists jump from topic to topic to topic....etc..... Without justifying the first topic, it's pure irrational stupidity.

  • BTW. Jupiter can actually be seen with the naked eye.

  • @fatouche99 Hell, sometimes it can be seen in twilight.

  • I read the bible and I don't understand......Buuuuuuuut, I think I'll believe it anyway. Wow?

  • @fatouche99 That's because you don't understand but you except anyway.

  • @TheDano1947 I'm sorry, but I have no idea what this conversation is about.

  • The caller seems to like ''dough'', wonder if he is a baker

  • This guy is unbelievably dense.

  • Insane caller. It's insane that the Bible stories are worshiped and believed and everything in it is based on the testimony of mentally disturbed people saying that God spoke to them. Today those kind of people are either on meds or hospitalized or walking around with shopping carts. Insane people wake up!

  • How do you guys stand this kinda stuff all the time ?

I would have whacked out LOL

  • Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

  • I swear I do not understand how you guys keep your cool during these conversations...I've watched a lot of your videos and it's like you beat your head against a brick wall of unassailable belief every damned time.

Thanks for doing it, I just don't know how you can stand it.

  • Where does the caller get off telling people what they believe?????/ i would have said you believe racism is correct you believe sexism is correct you believe in a invisible cow named puppa joblah exists ........ because if he can tell me what i believe then i can tell him what he believes , that's fair right..............

  • This is what happens when you drop out of school and hang out in da hood.

  • "Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions" - Thomas Jefferson

  • What makes me sad is that I have friends like the caller. It's almost painful to listen to them sometimes. It's like listening to a computer program with a certain set of commands with no voice of their own.

  • "*spectrophotography, science, etc.*"

    "Butchou got fait', do!"

  • what a fucking bender

  • Comment removed

  • What a FUCKING IDIOT!

  • i swear, if people would actually finish their reading assignment, read EVERY word of the bible, all but maybe 1 out of 1000 would stop believing in the god of the bible; i'm glad i finished it and thereby stopped believing in "god"

  • isnt that the same guy who said that people who dress up for halloween are displaying that they believe in vampires, witches, mummies ect and i think he also once said in all honesty that aliens exist and the government are covering them up

  • To claim general agreement with a scientific theory without major knowledge of said theory isn't taking it on faith. It is a logical assumption because each time I did serious research on a scientific theory, I agreed with it. That same is true for religion; every time I research a major religion, it turns out to be unsubstantiated, and it is a logical assumption that others are bullshit. These are not completely constant, but they are logical assumptions, not faith.

  • this caller is super moron :)

  • @1701EarlGrey actually i think it's about time they introduced that category as an official medical condition.

  • Want to see Jupiter? Get a fucking telescope. A regular one will work. You can see the red spot, the cloud patterns and the moons.

  • obviously the caller is a product of the wellfare system, he is waaay to stupid to get a job and support himself.

  • @gdb5444 Oh shut up with your capitalism nonsense, some of the most powerful men in the world are religious. How much money you have or make doesn't make you stupid or intelligent. If you judge someone based on the money in their wallet then you are moronic. Look at the president of the United States if you don't believe me.

  • If Matt was afraid, why would have have a TV show? Shouldn't he be in hiding??

  • This guy obviously knows it all, except how to correctly speak his own native fucking language.

  • Hahaha what a dumbass

  • "You believe in a god or you believe there's no god." No, there's a difference between "believing in no god" and "not believing in god". If you can't understand the distinction, you're an idiot.

  • This caller is an example of critical thinking at its best ... ok, maybe not.

  • I've seen Mars and Venus through a telescope. I've seen Jupiter, and a couple of its moons. Knowing where to look, these planets are viewable by the naked eye, hanging amongst the stars. I've flown high in a plane, seeing Earth below me.

I've taken samples from inside of my cheek, put a drop of blood under a microscope to view previously unseen cells that make up my body. It's that simple. No faith involved; realities realized as a child through basic observation. Poor misguided man.

  • this caller rules so entertaining

  • He has faith Jupiter IS there?...... *Face Palm*

  • What is a gah?

  • Moron...

  • Sounds like this caller really wants to give up religion but needs every justification to do so in the entire world. Give him a few years I bet he will be an outspoken atheist.

  • As the poster before me said; you always think you've heard the dambest caller untill you listen to another clip and find that person to be even more stupid. However, this guy was truly one of the dumbest, by far.

"How do you know you're on Earth?" Holy macaroni. Is he serious?

  • @martinbondesson i think i was sold at "you could be on mars or jupiter! ok ok...how do you know your on a planet?"

........people like that cannot be reasoned with and deserve to be shot.....

  • every time i think i heard the dumbest caller, i find another show with an even DUMBER caller, i guess Einstein was right when he said : "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."

  • I don't get it, if i'm a christian (i'm not) and i'm supposed to sell all i have and give it to the poor - so now i'm poor! so someone else needs to sell all he owns and give it to me??

So why can't we all just keep what we have in the first place??

  • The caller(cliff) is clearly an idiot...

    Katalyzt

  • ahahaha best caller ever!!! ive watched this 4 times already

  • Ahhhh Cliffton....

The most retarded caller in AE history...

  • The Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the densest and fifth-largest of the eight planets in the Solar System. It is also the largest of the Solar System's four terrestrial planets. It is sometimes referred to as the World, the Blue Planet, or by its Latin name, Terra. The Earth is simply just a name that humans made up to describe our home planet.

  • This guy sounds a little too into transcendental meditation. Or just fucking retarded.

  • I think the caller is high, from "da hood", and probably a high school drop out.

  • where to begin with this one? a moron trying to figure out a book written by other morons.

  • whether christians want to admit it or not, they are very close minded about all other religions and their gods.

  • *facepalm*

  • holy shit. i think my IQ dropped a few points just from listening to this caller.

  • "The Bible - the big book of multiple choice" - Jeff Dee

  • @qsljfsopiucvn Which, if interpreted a certain way, becomes the "Big Book of 'Choose Your Own Adventure'"

  • I am with the theist 100%! He's absolutely right. No one has proven that the flying spaghetti monster does not exist. 'theories' of its non-existence are completely unfounded. What do you think made the trees, the flowers, the chirping birds, the basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes......

  • @skywize I hope this comment is a joke. This question is stupid that is tied to more stupid. How do I know I'm on Earth? I can become an astronaut, ride in a rocket and look back down at Earth when i'm in outer space. There is no faith involved when you have knowledge.

  • @Owunthrizzel Yeah, lol. I was joking....poorly, I'll admit, but joking none the less. You didn't catch the 'coming to take me away' bit? lol

  • This kinda made my night. Laughed as hell. Are some people really this stupid?

  • This man is trying to protecting himself from his emotionally (at the least) abusive childhood.

When he defends his religion, he is really defending his idealization of his parents. If he loses this he will feel the repressed pain and rage.

It's not about logic or religion really, it's emotional issues at the deepest level. That's why logic makes no difference....

  • @Ar7wen you nailed it 101%! you couldnt be more right

  • how can people watch this garbage and believe the caller what a dumb piece of shit

  • "HOW U KNO U ON URTH?"

    Lmfaooo

  • Why black people are so into religion?

  • Reason is but a faculty of the brain, and it seems to be flawed, as it gives rise to the extension to infinity, which makes no sense in the practial realm, and could never be proved. Reason also gives rise to the idea of space and time, which also are unprovables, as they are the base axioms of reason. All axioms are unprovable - they are accepted on faith alone.

  • Most people don't "know" much, they primarily accept the claims of authority. "knowing" properly means that one has experienced the phenomenon personally. But the phenomenon is an imprint on the canvas of the mind, it is not direct experience of the nuomena. a "label" does not equate to knowledge. No one knows where they are unless there is an absolute fixed point of measurement somewhere. Who gets to decide that point, and why?

  • OOOH the caller is an idiot?! Surprise!

  • I don't believe that caller exists.

I have enough evidence to properly disbelieve his existence.

Noone can be dumb enough to think he's on the phone with a guy living on jupiter.

That's all the evidence I need.

  • your physical body is on earth, but you could be of other mind, other state-of-being... usually spoken as "OUT OF YOUR MIND" or "OUT OF THIS WORLD". not all people are earth-minded.

  • "sell all your belongings" applies ONLY to who it applies to. it doesn't apply to everyone. for others, their purpose to serve is much different. ya'll lack understanding.

  • I hope no one is sitting on hold.

  • The theist strategy is to make everything subjective to perception, that way anything could be considered a faith based beleif. Trying to put atheist and theist on the same ground. They keep missing that the side that makes the claim of the existance of something is the one that has the burden of proof

  • Matt and Don, I love you guys, but y'all did a TERRIBLE job of interacting with this caller. The problem is that he has the incorrect definition of the word "faith", and you guys failed to identify and deal with that, even though it's one of the single most common logistic mistakes that theists make.

  • AND, y'all let him drag you all over the map, pretty much ruining your chances of getting any one point across to him.

  • @suzbailey23 I think that chance was ruined from the get go.

  • This guy might be my favorite caller. He's called in a bunch of times with stupid nonsense.

  • Comment removed

  • @Freethinker12341 Filthy racist idiot! You ironically refer to yourself as 'Freethinker12341', yet you are

still bound by the shackles of bigotry and xenophobia.

  • @thatamazinggeek i have a good ear i guess

  • I dont know for sure what planet Matt is from, but this caller Cliff is clearly from another planet....

  • Ummm....host is wrong. Other planets do hold life. NASA has confirmed that. Also, the caller's question was very intelligent. Did you notice how the host went from "knowing" he was on Earth to "believing?"

  • @thatamazinggeek lol no that was johnny

  • LOL!

  • I have seen Jupiter, you can too. Look at the night sky some time and you can see it better with a telescope.

Its not the athiest that gets scared its the christians, look what they did to Galileo when he discovered that Jupiter had moons orbiting it instead of everything going around Earth.

  • @antares074 What's funny is that you atheists say we christians can't agree on things, but one of your fellow atheists called Galileo an idiot for his beliefs. How do you like that?

  • @illusionistdave It does not bother me at all. Nowhere does it say that atheist need to agree on things. We all have our own opinions on different subjects. And any one who thinks that Galileo was wrong about Jupiter and its moons is is either an idiot or a nutjob. That goes for anyone, athiest, christians or any other type of person out there.

  • @antares074 You are consistent. That's good. You seem intelligent too. :)

  • @antares074 How do you know that's Jupiter you're seeing?

  • @illusionistdave First of all there are star charts telling you where the planets are going to be on any given night. But second of all, have you seen Jupiter or Saturn through a telescope? There is no denying that it is Jupiter and Saturn. Now the other planets are harder to distinguish, they look like points of light. Though Venus and Mercury goes through phases similer to the moon, it is much harder to see the phases. Jupiter's moons and cloud bands and Saturns Rings are quite visable.

  • @antares074 But we don't know that. I mean, who is to say that there isn't another planet that looks like Jupiter? We can only use one sense to determine that's Jupiter. That means we can't feel, hear, smell or taste it. That leaves some doubt, which means it can't be known.

  • @illusionistdave Well using that arguement, none of the sences can be used to know that god exists. can't see him, touch him, taste him, smell or hear him. You deny that Jupiter exist when we can atleast see it, and have had space probes plunge right into it and give us back data, but yet you believe in a god that there is no proof for.

And as far as knowing that there is not another Jupiter in our solar system, I am only going off of 5000 years of astronomy. We would see it, if it was there

  • @antares074 Yes I can see and hear him and touch him. Just because you can't doesn't mean no one else can. Therefore it's more likely that God exists than what you call Jupiter is Jupiter. lol:)

Welll, you can go back on all the science you want, but science is NOT static. Science told us years ago the world was flat. Guess what? That was WRONG.

  • @illusionistdave You see god? what does he look like? just so that I know. I don't want to mistake him for something else. (and I really hope you are just joking about the Jupiter thing cause it is just rediculous)

And you are wrong about the whole science and flat Earth thing. People believed the Earth was flat and it was Science that proved it was round.

  • @antares074 I never said YOU could see him. You'd claim he was invisible even if you could see him anyway.

And actually the only science they had at the time they thought the Earth was flat said that the Earth was flat. So how am i wrong?

  • @illusionistdave No but you said that you can see god, so I just want to know what he looks like. So if I do happen to see him then I will not mistake him for some hallucination or something.

The scientific methed has only been around since like the 16th century so they did not even have what we would call science back then. It was just philosophy.

But with that said Eratosthenes around the year 240bc. figured out the curcumference of the Earth. Implying that is was a sphere.

  • @antares074 Maybe you can only see him if you want to. Would you actually ever want to? Cause you sure don't seem like it. Yes, that may be a copout, but seriously, would you actually ever acknowledge a god if he existed? To say that a god exists doesn't mean you have to agree with the bible ya know?

Good points on the scientific method. But, I would like to understand how we know gravity exists. I can't use any of my senses to experience it.

  • @illusionistdave If there was something for me to believe that god existed I would say that I believed. That is why I asked what he looked like, I dont say that he does not exist, I say there is no proof of it that I have seen for myself. So I ask once again what does god look like?

You can use your sences for proof of gravity. You can see objects fall to the ground. When you trip and fall do you not feel it? Come on Dave, you are smarter than this. This is 3rd grade stuff.

  • @antares074 Well I'm glad that you do seem more open to the idea than any atheist I've ever met or seen.

Also, you are trying to tell me some invisible object makes me fall? So that insinuates that this object has to push me. Does it have hands?

  • @illusionistdave Come on Dave, That is just rediculous. Gravity does not have hands, it is just a force, a weak one at that that causes smaller object to fall into larger ones. Elimentary school Dave. Comparing gravity to this almighty being is just funny.

Look I will believe in god when he come down and tells me hello. But how will I ever know it is him. I had someone tell me once that they can see god but they wont tell me what he looks like. Or am to believe it is god cause he says so.

  • @antares074 And you say that this force pushes me down. I can't see it or feel it. I fall because I fall. Also,i have a bad spine. There's nerve damage that causes me to fall. Who are you to say it's this "gravity" and not my nerve damage?

  • @illusionistdave Gravity is a fact because we experience it everyday. Why do you think astronauts float in space? Just pick up a book on physics. Educate yourself on the science that keeps your feet on the ground and alive each day. Stop asking such ignorant questions and making yourself look like a fool. I wouldn't doubt that you even still think that the Earth is flat. Science and the desire to explore the things around us is the reason why we have become the advanced society we are today

  • @brochill69 Am I an idiot or are you an idiot? How do you know I'm not ahead of my time and that some day science will not prove God exists?

  • @illusionistdave Because if religion had any validity toward making progress about proving their claims, don't you think it would have by now. It's simply people clinging to bronze age ideals. And if you're god is such a transcending being, why would he allow such petty humans with their "crazy science" to find him? That would defeat his entire idea for "having faith." That just shows me that he shouldn't be called god at all. So yes, you sir are the idiot.

  • @brochill69 LMFAO You are telling me that a god who gave us unconditional free will wouldn't allow us to do something? You sure I AM the idiot?

  • @illusionistdave Yes I am positive you are the idiot. You're comparing free will with intelligence and science. That just proves it. Hahaha Please, stop. My college classmates and I are dying of laughter.

  • @brochill69 LMAO Okay college boy. Well while you are IN college, I have already graduated years ago with honors. Nice try, kid.

  • @illusionistdave And you cannot possibly be ahead of your time because you believe ideas and principles that were concieved THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO. Your beliefs spawn from the same time period when people believed that eating mice would cure their toothaches. Sounds like a great period i history to have created something "intelligent and ahead of its time". Just please stop talking, you're making an complete imbecile out of yourself.

  • @illusionistdave Haahahhahaha, Dave that is funny. Sorry about the nerve damage thing. I have a friend with a bad back and he is in pain every day. I hope there is something that you can have done to make it better. But gravity does not push you down it pulls you down.

All I know is really hope you are just having fun at this point cause I am. Your arguements and just getting funnier and funnier.

  • @antares074 I am having fun. Really all I'm trying to say is that atheists shouldn't be upset at theists or judge them as less intelligent just because we don't have what they consider valid proof. Yes, some people kill in the name of religion, but some people without a moral guide or god kill because they don't believe there is any eternal consequence. So what does it really matter if I believe a god exists?

  • @illusionistdave You can believe in god all you want. I am not trying to change you. It should also be ok if I don't believe in a god.I should not have to be force feed christain beliefs just cause I live in a country where the majority of the people are christains.

Now people that do things that harms other people wether they are christains or athiest are wrong. We should not need the threat of hell to do the right thing. But there are alot of people that go to church every week that do wrong

  • @antares074 Well then we are cool cause I agree with 100% of what you said.

  • @illusionistdave That's not entirely correct, everyone have their own set of rules of what is wrong and what is right. I would not go around killing people without reason, and I dont because there are laws against it. There are a few people I probably would have killed, such as the asses who bullied me for many years in school. Some of the people in the columbine murders might have deserved it in the killers opinion.

  • @illusionistdave The point is; there are motivated killing by a logic reason or multiple reasons, and there are killings based upon something that is probably not even true, ie in the name of religion.

  • small minds can only come up with small ideas. That guy's world and thoughts are so small.

  • what a tard

  • "I never heard any type of religion where it takes money to serve god."

    Ever heard of tithes?

  • "I read the bible and didn't understand it." at least he's an HONEST christian.

  • "I read the bible and didn't understand it." at least he's an HONEST christian.

  • Haha, these Christians calling in trying to sound deep but really comes off as a dumbass.

  • omg I feel bad for all these people that call this show.....they're soooo STUPID lmfao.

  • Religion stunts the intellectual growth of children. This guy is a perfect example. If you're willing to pound religion into your kids heads, why not give them some cigarettes to stunt their physical growth also?

  • If you don't believe in a God due to lack of evidence but you're not arguing that there isn't a God, doesn't that make you agnostic?!

  • @OutOfTheBoxThinker No, agnostic is when you don't know. Atheism is the denial of the claim that a god exists, theism is the belief in a deity. Agnostic is knowledge, atheism and theism is belief.

  • @13smitbr : I figured that out by now. Thanks for the reply nevertheless. I guess I've always considered atheism, theism and agnosticism as mutually exclusive because I've never made a distinction between considering something unknowable and not taking a position. Meanwhile I learned there are agnostic atheists and agnostic theists out there, which imo doesn't make much sense but hey... humans rarely do anyway ;-)

  • @OutOfTheBoxThinker It's true :). But remember, choose the belief or lack of belief based on what you think sounds more moral and more likely. In case you didnt know, Lack of a belief in a deity completely demolishes any other belief system in my before-said attributes. Although I am hoping and assuming that you have already become an atheist...

  • @13sm : Well, I guess you could call me an agnostic floating somewhere in between atheism and pantheism. Atheists suggest that the universe is more or less a giant self-maintaining quantum computer program and pantheists say basically the same but add consciousness to that program. Since I don't know of any way to conclude whether or not the universe is conscious I stay indecisive on that. It doesn't really matter, though, since this has no influence on my morality or my perception of science.

  • this guy is a fucking rock, he is so damn stupid. motherfucker probably cant even spell his name

  • This is either the biggest troll ever or the most retarded person in the world.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

    trololo

  • aah I am really lonely any males want to cam let me know

  • "i read the bible i didnt understand it!" lmfao haha

  • Oh my goodness! What a retarded idiot this caller is!!! Was he a prank caller?

  • Matt is funny. However, I don't believe in all that 7-day creationist ideas. I didn't believe someone who lived thousands of years ago, could do anything for me. I went to a pentecostal church just to listen to music. My body started to do things on it's own. I did not know anything about the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I believed people just tell themselves that. Then a break through .It cannot be described in words because words are just symbols . It gave me greater insight into other people.

  • Jesus only told one person to sell all his posetions and give it to the poor because Jesus knew in that mans heart that he loved money more than anything else, and that man went away sad.

  • @theageofgrace- "posetions"?? Are you sure you did'nt mean possessions??

  • @artwdog Didn't not "did'nt" You really shouldn't get all smug and arrogant over a typo. it's quite obvious that he meant possessions.

  • @theageofgrace thats not what he said. the rule he gave applied to everyone. or are you accusing god of having bad grammar?

  • The atheists win every time. EVERY time. Hoes.

  • @GuruPremierGangStarr ya except for that crook william lane craig.

  • "because we labeled it" oh shit i cant stop laughing, got to go get my Dyno labeler

  • Oh brother, the title alone has me laughing.

  • Well said, Matt.

  • Yeah, this guy's trolling.

  • How you know you on erf?

  • Wow. It must totally suck to be a retard.

  • I find myself in these same debates constantly. Fucking idiots man.

  • We should rather ask ourselves if it is a meaningful question. It is not. We should ask ourselves: what should I do with my time?

  • 0:50

    Cough cough Scientology cough

  • @tikifreakazoid lol!

  • Sadly, he made a good snare when he asked the planet question, you can tell Matt was trying to find a good way to not be in the same boat at the caller by saying he knows he's on earth because he was told he is
