Boot Camp is not as bad is everyday! Its only 13 weeks of hell! NO BIGGIE! Just take it day by day, chow to chow, sunday to sunday, lights to lights, and so on and so forth. Just do as your told and take your ass chewing or IT if your one of the lucky ones to recieve one.

@ICryWhenICum001 They are the 'guide' and there is one per platoon that is generally selected by the senior drill instructor. The Guide is responsible for managing his/her fellow recruits and answers up to the drill instructors.

He's chosen by the Senior Drill Instructor to be the model of their fellow recruits. basically he's the guy that stand out of the rest of the recruits. San Diego is WAY differant than Parris Island. Parris Island recruits dont button the top button of their blouse, they also wear the cammies of the season not the green ones all the time. Except in the field they wear the opposite. 2 completely differant worlds to train one marine corps.

@rufus819 Its actually pretty similar...When I was a MCRD San Diego 6 years ago anyways, we wore both deserts, and woodlands. Also, we didnt RATE to button that top button, or have name tapes on our cammies for that matter until the second month! They wanted us to feel like little turds, and not look like Marines yet! Parris Island has swamps and bugs, we got hills and heat! Same bullshit though

tattoos not seen in pt gear could be as large as you want,tattoos seen in pt gear cant be any larger than your hand and must be at least 2 inches above your wrist break.With that being said alot of grunt Marines still get "out of reg" tattoos
