roby- as a bass player, how close is this bassline to Billie Jean? Hall and Oates say that MJ told them he copped the bassline from this song for Billie Jean. What's the difference in the two?
Sorry man, making tabs is a pain in the ass for me...I can tell you where to start off, and once your ear gets it, I'm sure you can sort it out on youw own.
Not bad. I came on here looking for the De La Soul version. Not bad. My only recommendation is to feel the music a little more. Do you cover any Steely Dan?

Muchisima gracias hermano! Puedo hablar Español tambien y aprendi la cancion porque es una cancion favorita de mio. Es demasiado facil para tocar porque solamente tiene tres partes. Buena Suerte! Your English is pretty good!

Intro and Chorus: Starts on a high F, 3rd fret on D string. Sounds like [FF, C D# C D# C] :: This is the first measure. 1st position.
Verse: High C, 5th fret on G string. Sounds like [CC, G A# G A# G] That's another measure. 2nd position.
Pre-Chorus: It's 2nd position, but I'm not gonna bother transcribing it.
Intro and Chorus:
Follow the box fingering on the fret board, and you'll be alright with intro + verse.

"say no go" by De La Soul.,.great song, and, in IMO, tribute to H&O.
I haven't any Steely Dan, but give me a track and I'll try it.
