I remember focusing on the various Egyptian figures (of Osiris, Hor, and others) and wondering why JOSEPH SMITH made two obviously female personages out to be male, instead. Many years later (after the Church came back into possession of the papyri), it was noted, by scholars that two of the personages were indeed female: and, their accompanying names were given.
If you are so set on bashing the LDS church because you believe it is false.. how come you haven't posted videos of how Islamic religion is incorrect? or Buddhism?Wicca? or Catholicism for that matter? you seem to really have a phobia of the LDS church.. what makes you so afraid that you have to "try" and prove the church to be false?

This is just typical, anti-Mormon spin. If you look at the symbolisms of the gods, it fits Joseph Smith's translation perfectly. The Egyptians worshipped Abraham as Osiris, the god of the dead. In fact, all the kings were resurrected to godhood as was Abraham. Therefore, Osiris is an archetype representing Abraham as the father of the faithful, and the blessing of Abraham is to receive immortality and eternal life. It was a typical of ancient Jews to correct paganized takes on Judaism.

One can borrow the print of a different culture and adopt it into their own. I posit Joseph translated the papyrus and hypocephalous of someone of a different culture than the Egyptians. Of course, the translation would be different in that case. One could ask what is right, the Chinese or the Japanese translation? Both are correct!

From what I am seeing online, I am most dreadfully embarrassed for people who follow the Mormon faith. Falsehoods and spurious information seem to be entrenched in their most basic and fundamental book of faith, The Book of Mormon. I am Christian and even I struggle with 'inconsistencies' that I uncover in my faith. Everyone has the right to explore and ask difficult questions about their faith, and must keep persevering on, until the truth is finally found; it is crucial.

There is also nothing in the Bible that says the mark of cain is dark skin OR that it was a punishment. In fact, banishment was the punishment and the mark was to protect Cain from the other people in the wilderness who might harm him. (Where these other people come from is a mystery)

"When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength" God marked him so people would not kill him, that is correct as God wanted him to live out his punishment.

I was browsing through the BofA in my LDS Quad Scriptures.I was looking at the facsimiles and noticed where J Smith claimed Isis was King Pharaoh and Goddess Maat was Prince of Pharaoh! lol
I brought it up with the missionaries and a member of the Bishopric and no one seem to bother or respond!?!?!? I thought to myself these guys are real dumbasses. What an embarassment they were. I felt sorry for them and couldn't help thinking what a bunch of poor suckers. It was a turning point for me.
