  • UMMM YEAH. UMMM YEAH ITS STUCK IN MY HEAD LIKE A SONG

  • Neat :D I didn't know the water thing.

    Thank you!

  • Pretty good. When gluing also remember to pull the trigger SLOWLY. This allows the glue to heat up a bit before leaving the "barrel". This prevents the stick from getting scraped by the loading prong, and makes the flow more consistent. I also strongly recommend investing in a dual-temperature glue gun. I got a Mastercraft brand(pretty good brand) for $11. And do not cheap out on glue sticks for modding, the better the glue the better the hold. Dollar store glue is good for darts however.

  • @BlurredFace My mini dual temp is used for darts, because its better to use the low setting for darts. In that glue gun I use blue glitter glue, for darts only. That's why I have to use this other mini hot glue gun with no temp setting (just high) for the normal clear glue. I should really invest in a large and better one for the modding parts but I'm fine for now.

  • hey wats the mod ur doing to ur nite finda dose it vacume suck the dart in plz reply :D

  • YAAANKDOGGGEER!!!TODAY THE CONTEST ENDS!!WHO WON!!

  • thanx i needed 2 know it

  • @yankdogger7 u didn't watch... but whatever u missout on my epic mod

  • @yankdogger7 please watch my vid on my moded longshot WIP and try it out with the top integration mod with the maveric its cool and works. REMEMBER TO SAY I CREATED THE MOD PLEASE and it's called the nerflizerd integration. thanks.

  • @nerflizerd ...

  • Good vid. Hot glue isn't given enough credit, it's pretty great.

One thing you should have mentioned, you can also work hot glue with your fingers before it hardens if you lick them or otherwise get them wet. Do NOT do this immediately after dispensing the hot glue, it's called hot for a reason.

Kndoperative mentioned this: lubricating something will stop hot glue from sticking to it. This technique can be used for more than molding however. A prime example would be FA24's original doomsayer

  • @CaptainYogurt1 exactly. That's where I originally got the idea. He lubed the hot glue to get a seal on the turret.

  • @yankdogger7 "so here is this sink that I use" LOL!!!- Yankdogger 7

  • @oneBLACKstefan Wait, what's so funny?

  • @Yankdogger7 i dont know

  • Not because I want to criticize your work, but simply for the sake of education, I decided to add my two cents: What I would have done for the first thing you glued is apply super glue instead. (I find when hot glue thins out too much, it looses its strength) And I would have molded the coupler-shape by applying lubricant over the coupler, then pushing the coupler into the glue so the coupler won't stick to the glue, yet you don't have to get your blaster wet. Anyway, nice tips :)

  • @KNDoperative Well I had bad experience with super glue, and the hot glue method works marvelously. I've been using this method for my entire modding career. And I dont find getting my blaster wet a big deal, and plus if you're careful you can just get it on the spot, with everything dry. Lubrication is kinda a hassle,my method will not stick at all if you do it right. So thats just the reason why I do what I do,.

  • @Yankdogger7 like I said, just giving my opinion. Your way works too. Those are just the methods that I prefer. And it's really all just for educating the young-ins anyway! lol

  • i burnt my hand 4 times on hot glue FREAKIN HURTS

  • @ArbiterBullet Um, be careful? I rarely burn my hand when I use hot glue.

  • @ArbiterBullet I enjoy the pain. :)

  • @spenserx619 Well I do have a dart mod help, but idk, practice makes perfect on that part, so I can't really say.

  • Hey YankDogger7, are you going to make a breech Mod Help vid?

  • @chankailong Maybe, because I was planning on it, but I realized if I made one, all the comments will be "where do I find brass"

  • @Yankdogger7 Oh, well ok.

  • by cold water do you mean extremely cold or just kind of cold

  • @TheNerfkings Does it matter? Just turn the blue one, right one, or whatever that means cold on the sink.

  • @TheNerfkings he means exactly -5.671 degrees C duhh

  • ahh yeah 6th

  • 79th view

  • 4th

  • second!!! thumbs up for another mod help
