  • Amazing, I love raw grass fed beef. You and I shall prevail s7934777. Were are natural raw omnivores indeed my friends :) :)

  • Yea you look young & healthy but wait till the worms start moving into the heart & brain, then try & put up a video. PS Why is there no 100yr old raw meat eaters? cause they got wormed, that's why God provided wormwood, to cleanse the world of raw nuts.

  • Isn't it a bit risky eating animals like squirrels raw? I'd love to go hunting for small game like that when I start eating raw paleo, but people love talking about rabid squirrels passing on their lovely diseases and whatnot.

  • Who are you for people to metion bro!

  • @monellasweeting Hello, I m myself of course.

  • Fair questions. Get a blood test and post the results.

  • @brober1980 Yep. I agree.

  • I'm a vegetarian and am eating around 70% of my meals as raw fruit, the other 30% is mainly rice and raw or blanched vegetables with a few seeds and nuts. Eat whatever works for you, I say....but dude, what's with eating like a savage on the floor? You don't even look like you're taking any time to enjoy what you're eating, you're just scarfing it down like a hungry dog.

  • Though I personally don't agree with it, its a pretty interesting diet. I've never seen the actual raw foodist (non-vegan) diet. Its good to see you're doing great on it, you look pretty good to me! :)

  • @JamieKeper Thanks bro. And yeah, all I can do is share my personal experience. I can only think for myself.

  • I mean I can only speak for myself haha

  • I know you eat raw meat, but wouldn't you rather be biting into the flesh of a juicy mango? ALL the cells in your body run on GLYCOGEN which is easily digested and assimilated from a plethora of sweet fruits. If the diet you eat is so optimal, why aren't people using a high fat low carb diet to combat heart disease or compete in the olympics?

  • @AprilTea64 I crave red meat. And love bison and venison. When I hungry I go for meat over any fruit. I crave protein and fat. Mangos don't grow in Wisconsin. I get some wild local grapes, they are in season now. Neither people in the Olympics or people with heart doesn't eat mainly wild meats (deer, elk etc.) or grass fed meats (bison etc.). So your question doesn't make any sense. I can name more athletes that eat meat than that eat only raw fruit though. I do better on a diet with red meat.

  • I simply do better on a diet that includes red meat. I can only speak for myself.

  • The answer is no, your ‘canines’ and your weak little jaw could not perform these functions. This list could go on and on! For example, carnivores have short colons, yours is long like other non-meat eaters! This means that flesh actually rots inside of you before it leaves (this is why meat intake is associated with colon cancer)! I think it is at least clear that meat is not our optimal food choice, if it was, we’d be much more well suited for obtaining it, eating it and digesting it

  • Now take that a step further, and look down at your body. Take a gander at your muscles, do they ripple with the ferocity needed to chase down and kill a grown animal? Do you have the sharp claws that big cats, birds of prey, wolves or other predators do? Nope! What about those teeth that you dare to call ‘canines’? Do they have the ability to tear open the skin of another creature, dismembering its fascia and rip muscle from bone? Think about the jaw strength needed!

  • Do you desire to tear into its flesh, spill its warm blood over your lips, consuming its raw flesh, organs and skin? Of course not! That stuff probably grosses you out! Well, guess what? That’s not very carnivore of you. Instead, you would need to take that meat, cook it, slather it in barbecue sauce or other flavoring devices, in order to make it acceptable to you. Is this something that you would be able to do in your natural evolutionary environment? No!

  • Monkeys use meat for social reasons. There is no nutritional content for them, and thus it has not been digested when it comes out in their faeces. Most people think that they are carnivores (or at least ‘omnivores’, meaning they are designed to eat plants and animals), but they need to think about what that actually entails a bit more. When you find yourself hungry, does your mouth water at the sight of a pig or cow running around?

  • A carnivore's digestive system to spine ratio is 3:1, while an omnivore's is 10:1, herbivores are 30:1 and frugivores are 12:1. The digestive system to spine ratio of a human is 12:1. I'll leave that to you to ponder over.

Btw, omnivores don't sweat. Do you sweat?

Omnivores by choice, frugivores by design.

  • @stephlovesthejobros We are naturally mainly carnivorous. Take that into thought Also take into we are one of the sweatiest beings on earth.

  • @s7934777 Okay, I meant to say omnivores and carnivores don't sweat. If we sweat, that means we're not supposed to be eating animals. GET IT?

  • We are 2 legged creatures with multiple adaptions to different climates (hence different races). Naturally we make tools to hunt

  • @s7934777 Fish make tools. Primates make tools. Hell, elephants probably make tools too.

    /watch?v=MUs6HfsojPo

  • @stephlovesthejobros We make tools to hunt. ;)

  • @s7934777 So would you eat a human?

  • @stephlovesthejobros Maybe in a survival situation. Where someone died and I had no choice to to eat their already dead body to survive. I would try to find other food before I resort to that, even in the worst case scenario. I prefer hunting with fellow humans and eating with them, not eating them haha. That's kind of a silly question you asked. Maybe no meat is clouding your thoughts? Making it hard for you to think?

  • @s7934777 People often say the difference between us and animals is that we're smart enough to make our own tools to hunt animals, so apparently we have the right to (ab)use that intelligence. Primates can make and use tools, as can fish. If they're just as conscious, aware and intelligent as we are, what's the difference between eating them and eating one of us? Just because they look different?

  • @stephlovesthejobros Primates are humans, apes, and monkeys. Monkeys and apes aren't as intelligent as us as far as making tools. Our body and mind is just much better naturally for tool making. Especially because of how specific our forearms and hands are for tool making.

If you look at human history, at some point we started hunting big game. Prob because more meat feeds more people and last longer. Animals eat animals. Chimpanzees hunt monkeys. It is what it is. We are adapted to eat meat

  • Take advice from those getting results and giving objective info. Do you really feel sharp and quick as a whip? The largest, most muscular mammals eat a fruit or plant-based diet. (check out vegan bodybuilding) Best wishes

  • @AprilTea64 Yeah, I do. Check out my videos, many of them showing my abilities.

Do you not realize we are humans? Our closest relatives eat insects and meat. If you go and try to eat what other herbivores (real herbivores) eat. truly wild fruits and vegetables. You won't do well. We are omnivores by nature ;)

  • There is a big difference between wild and domesticated foods.

  • If you are going to eat raw meat, please don't pay someone else to kill a living animal and chop it into pieces for you, go out into nature with no weapons and show us how we're adapted to kill animals with our 'jaws' and 'claws' lol. We evolved from primates who eat FRUIT.

  • @AprilTea64 I got a goose once. I picked up a random stick caught it in flight with my throw. It fell, I ripped off it's head with my bare hands. If a chimp can pick up a stick and form it to kill bush babies in a hollow tree. Or Take a rock and crack a nut. Or take a stick and get some termites. Since they are very similar too us, and we have way more brain power. Hmmm, I just wonder what naturally we could come up with with sticks and rocks. Give me a damn break! THINK! THINK! Think for a SEC!

  • We create tools by nature and hunt with them! Think! Damn it! THINK! haha Just like chimps but on a more advanced level. aka Hunting with spears for thousands of years to kill big game. An d using tools in general to help survive. AKA animal skins to adapt to colder climates.

  • AKA cave paintings of animals, not of fruits from the super markets genetically altered that don't exist in nature!

  • I am sorry man, but I am tired of explaining really simple stuff to people. As if we were mindless oafs picking huge juicy fruits for thousands of years. I am tired of explaining. Open your eyes. We evolved hunting in packs, with weapons!

  • ME ME ME ME. IS THAT ALL YOU WANT IS TO BE TALKED ABOUT? humans are not built to eat meat. study the digestive system of a carnivore against that of a human. fuck meat FRUITARIAN FOR LIFE. keep eating that garbage and salt.

  • @dojaguy No it's about sharing knowledge. Chimps are built for more plants than us, and they even eat meat and insects. So if were built foe even more animal foods, now you see? The salt was from the oysters naturally. I eat oysters and salmon maybe once in a great while. My diet is mainly red meat, with some fruit veggies or nuts.

  • @s7934777 WELL BRO I WISH YOU health and long life. we are all on our own path to achieve supreme health. if this is working for you at the moment, than more power to you. just be careful please

  • @s7934777 The meat that they do eat is more of a spiritual/ceremonial thing, and it's occasional. About the bugs thing, there are parasites in everything, fruit included, so we're getting in our bugs quota just fine. I just hope that you're deworming yourself every six months at least.

  • @stephlovesthejobros No, it's a, got to get some bloody meat for nutrition thing. Yes occasional, they eat bugs specifically, like termites. The thing is the eat meat and insects. But our digestive system is built for more meat than theirs. SO it only makes since to eat more meat. Reason for our smaller intestine sthan theirs. No need to de-worm myself, I hope your taking your b-12 injections.

  • @83carp1 Watch Junts Vol. 12 my latest video. i have been eating 1-2 pounds of fatty meat a day. I am stronger and faster than ever before. My vegan diet gives me nightmares. Check out the whole vid bro!

  • @83carp1 I was eating high carb lower fat. Now I eat high fat and feel great. Check out my latest video ;)

  • @83carp1 I was a raw vegan turned raw paleo. Felt horrible I won't lie to myself and say it's detox. Actually most people who eat the paleo diet actually was vegan like myself. INculding my teacher who wa s a vegan for 10 years and now etas paleo mainly grass fed bison for meat. Why don't you try some grass fed bison and see how you feel ;)

  • @83carp1 You need to get local grass fed beef. Grain fed beef from the stores is not good. Fer Li grass fed beef is where I get some of my stuff. Local from Wisconsin fed no grains at all. Cows are naturally grazers and are grains in high amounts is as unhealthy for them as it is for us. As far as exercise routine, I do martial arts and other training. You can see all the stuff I do in my videos actually

  • I had some oysters and salmon so I decided to make a video of it. I eat something like that a few times a year.

I usually eta red meat day in day out. It's my favorite! Did I mention that yet? haha Red meat is more satisfying too

  • @s7934777 Check out the raw paleo diet forum ;) Most people on the forum were raw vegans before. Some were 80 10 10. If it doesn't work find what does ;) raw grass fed meat works for many people I guess

  • @83carp1 Raw meat is delicious. My favorite is red meat(bison, beef) btw, not salmon/fish actually. I just had some raw grass fed beef jerky (dehydrated at 105 degrees). No seasoning, dried myself, I ate it with some back fat. Fat is really important for health. I eat mainly red meat, maybe once in a while I will have some fish. But very rarely if ever. I prefer red meat!!! Mmmm mmm mmm

  • You go Sully! I was a raw vegan before I went raw paleo. My raw paleo self could kick the crap out of my raw vegan self. No contest!

Keep doing what you're doing. Hunting is a natural rush. We were designed for it. That's why little kids play tag and hide & seek - to prepare them.

  • @wormmy1 Thanks! Yes same here, we are natural meat eaters! Kids love tag! haha Thanks for your support my friend. All I want to do is spread some truth. We are natural raw meat eaters no doubt, and tool makers too!

Thanks again for your support my friend :)

  • If Sully and Harley were both dropped off in the wilderness, my guess is that Sully would probably survive longer than Harley because he is eating a survivor's diet. Sully also won't need to bring a hypodermic needle for a B12 injection.

Sully and Harley are both pretty cool in my opinion. Very interesting!

  • @earthpet BS! You know why? I can out sprint and out distance run Sullster. He would have no chance. Hamstring flexibility doesnt mean shit in the wild.

Ive got a vo2max of 78 yet couldnt catch a rabbit if my life depended on it. Falcons and foxes catch em like we can catch fruits and veg.

The only fuckers passing me in CP this morning were Kenyan and Ethiopian marathoners. I ran past over 500 people this morning with my 'Go Vegan' singlet on. Where the F do you get your protein from eh? ;)

  • @durianrider You would be running miles and eating fruit that doesnt exist in nature? Your in a dream Harley. It takes all around athletic ability and the willingness to eat animal foods to survive in the wild. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. But I am more all round athlete than you. I got a goose and rabbit with a stick I threw at them and finished with my hands. I suppose you just run/bike in circles? No wonder you wouldn't survive. Use your brain, that's why it's there my friend.

  • @s7934777 Goose are part of nature? You thru a stick at a rabbit? BS! They are fast as fuck. You would literally burn more calories chasing faster animals than we would get from eating them. I wish you could meet my raw meat eating friends in oz. You would get on the fruit quick stix lol!

  • @durianrider Talk is cheap. Come and race me in a sprint. Do a wrestling match with me. Anything, then compare yourself to me. Notice I am not blocking you as you blocked me from commenting on your videos. Eat a well balanced simple diet, including naturally raised meats. & Stop lying to yourself. Do a skype interview with me at least. Lets not judge and see where each other are at. I have no hate for you. As you can see I didn't block you. Bring the judgment and curse words, I am all ears pal.

  • @s7934777 What is your mile time. Im 4:53 at a USATF meet 2 weeks ago. Look up 'metro milers 26 august harley vegan'.

Are you saying you can out do me on the track? BRO! Show me the latest track times like I have. ;)

  • @durianrider Yes I can beat you in a sprint. So can my brother. ;) Mile time hmmm, I never timed a run. I will try that. How tall are you Harley btw?

  • @s7934777 Bro, no offense but if you cant beat me in the mile you got zero chance of beating me in any other run distance. If you cant run a mile at speed and look like you could then something is wrong health wise.

    6ft.

Watch my vid 'durianriders top 10 bike tips'.

  • @durianrider Well, if I you can do martial arts and strength training workouts 6 times week . Then bike 4-5 Miles to work and 4-5 miles back home 3-4 times a week. Push carts non stop for 4-7 hours 2-3 times a week. There is something very right about my health. Not to mention check out my newest video. Walking around running and jumping over things til sundown. Harley come on down to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.I will be happy to share my knowledge with you about healthy food and fitness.

  • @durianrider But I must warn you. There are no bananas growing here. Grocery store have them though. Wild grapes coming soon, watch out for those bugs though. Oh 6ft I see, I thought you were pretty tall. I am 5, 11" What's your weight if you don't mind me asking. Just curious. Question though. Why block me from commenting on your videos? The new vid is called Junts vol. 12 if you'd like to check it out.

  • @s7934777 I dont worry about local, I worry about what fuel gives me max performance and health.

130-150lbs depending on how much racing or kickboxing Ive been doing.

Ive got some mods on my channel. I will see if I can get you unblocked. ;)

  • @durianrider Well, if you or I can get food that is local, which also gives us max performance and health. All the better. I care where my food comes from and who raised or grew it. Local is not always the best choice or is what's available. But if it is doable and maintains health to maximum potential, then hey, I'd say why not. Oh ok, big weight changes. I fluctuate too. I am around 160-165 now. My heaviest was 170. All depends, can be anywhere 150-170.

  • Oh ok and thanks. It's all good. I only share my opinion like yourself. It's good for people to know my view, your view, even David Wolfe's view haha. :) The more you know about what other people do, the better you can decide what may be best for you.

Oh and with local food again, I find something enjoyable about going with the seasons like people once did.

  • I will try to find time for the mile run maybe this weekend. Or sometime soon. I will let you know. I have been biking every day to and from work. My bike is pretty old and the tires keep leaking air. Really difficult to ride since my legs get worn out from pushing carts at Target too. It's a racing bike with gears. Gears you change with levers. I could actually use your advice on bikes. I need to save up for a good one.

  • Well the bike is difficult to ride cause it constantly losing air due to the old tires. So you know how it is riding bikes with lower air. But hey, it's how I get to work so I will suffer through it until I can afford something better.

  • @durianrider

You do a lot of taking about your so-called speed. A 4:53 mile is equivalent to a 4:33 1500. There are *decathletes* who run faster, bruh. They're faster than you, stronger than you, jump further than you, throw further than you. And they eat more meat than you.

  • @decadyne @durianrider

He likes to call himself an elite athlete...but his times speak for themselves...they are far from "elite". A 5 minute mile is "good", if your the weekend warrior / recreational race type of guy though.

  • @daytonadudenheimer

What's even more interesting is that with a more roundly evolution-based diet, he almost undoubtedly would run faster.

  • @daytonadudenheimer Really? I don't recall seeing that video, but of course I've not seen them all. I have seen others refer to him as an elite athlete. But I have just seen Harley call himself an athlete. Can you link me up with that video? Just curious about your source and whether I'm mistaken or you were conflating what others' call him and what he calls himself.

  • @karenhidef Search youtube "im raw paleo now". He refers to himself as an elite athlete in the comments section of that video...as well as in a few of his videos. Unfortunately I really don't have the time to seed threw all 300+ of them to find out in which ones he claims to be an elite athlete.

  • @daytonadudenheimer I did the search - I couldn't find the one from durianriders. I found plenty from paleo folk though.

I understand folks don't have the time to do the research and find the evidence, but not having "the goods" undermines your position should someone challenge you. I've learned that myself when asked for proof - when here I was trying to make an argument siting proof that I couldn't even back up. That made me make arguments that either didn't require proof or actually find it.

  • @karenhidef search youtube "im raw paleo now" its the first video result by RawAthlete...look in the comment section of that video. durianrider claims to be an elite athlete.

I quote: "Dude, your not even strong or have decent cardio and you think you need more than us elite athlete vegans lol!"

  • @daytonadudenheimer - Thanks! Yeah that's a bit of bragging there sounding like he's lumping himself in with the elite athletes.

  • You are eating rabbit eyeballs? Fucking disgusting. Get off of raw meat. That shit aint healthy. What if an animal is sick with some disease? Do you test your rabbit for viruses? lol.

  • @HrapovikPlush Yes, I eat eyeballs they are very tasty and quite healthy. Many cultures around the world also consume them.

  • This dude needs to read 80/10/10. He is just another fit kid that could stay ripped on big macs till he hits 30.

  • @durianrider If you have to add salt to your 'food' it aint food lol!

  • @durianrider I didn't add salt. There was salt water from the ocean in the oyster.

  • @s7934777 Thats my point exactly bro. Add salt to an oyster and it becomes a tasty version of a booger. You should do some competitive sport to prove your point better and put up some comprehensive blood tests. Thats the think in the paleo/primal fad diet world, nobody does that. Robb Wolf did recently and he was mega deficient in lots despite supplementing like a demon.

I bet you have a vitamin b12 deficiency and elevated homocysteine. Get a heart check up each year with that much animal fat.

  • @durianrider Actually when I ate big macs and anything I wanted I had very bad acne on my back and face. Even though I was fit from exercising, the foul diet of big macs showed through my acne. Changing my diet cleared up my acne, I am healthier stronger and fitter with the consumption of red meat. Especially that from a grass fed animal or wild. I also used to get the flu every year when eating anything I wanted. Now I don't, my immune system is so much stronger now.

  • and then they say we can digest meat, and people's diets are based on personal biology and genetic history based on geography.

they say they got better when switched to organic, holistic vegan, not thinking about sugar and processed food. then they say how "caveman" only lived to 40 or 30 "because all the meat". not that living thousands of years ago had any impact. and then we have one stomach, and cannot handle cellulose.

they say "cows are huge, and they are vegan". it's the only reason?

  • @kuwaizair Some animals eat only plants and are tiny or huge. Some animals eat krill like whales and are hugest. Some carnivores are tiny or huge (t rex, extinct). As far as our ancestors life expectancy during the paleolithic periode. Well, remeber they didn't have hospitals or heat, air conditioning, and bears and lions were in their backyard, not in zoos. Hunting gave them injuries too. We humans are most similar to primates. But our diegestion, smaller than chimps, we evolve with more meat

  • @s7934777 I know,(sort of) to bring them up in the fights is either moot or revlent. a PETA cooking video here ends with the chick saying "look at cows, they are huge and eat vegan :D!" they won't want to listen to the lack of healthcare(out side of "yellow curly leaf makes sore go away") and toughing out a winter with little food caused casualties. I asked on YA if it was possible to be a 1600's Irish vegan. They told me "it was possible" I hope they were trolls.

  • haha. you look like you can take down something.

    so you forage?

raw meats are safe? or safer now? I am told not to eat raw bugs because they will give you worms. I will eat the bivales at parties though. The salmon on sushi and sashimi that is rawish I like better. the cooked things make me feel sick. I don't like raw egg yolk, I like them sunny side up. runny. hard boiled is not good

because you kill and not scavenge. you don't fear rabies. but rabbits are not rabid a lot of times right?

  • @kuwaizair hah well wild fruit doesn't require a license so it's simple pickings. Yes raw meats are safe. Especially from grass fed meats (beef bison lamb etc.). Safety of wild meat depends on location. Usually firther away from human activity teh better. But wild rabbits here just graze.

  • How do you like the new version.
