  • straight like an aussie male

  • a very good duo-version!

    BRAVO !

  • well done!

  • Thanks for this perfect music and arrangement.

    Outstanding.

  • very nice!

  • very nice!

  • what a great amazing great sound. even the piano is tune so well, so jazzy. guitar and piano match perfectly.

  • Musical perfection simply stated.

  • awesome

    wahnsinn

    geil

  • Beautiful!

  • These wonderful players practically breathe together!

  • I could listen to this all night.

    Bravo gentlemen.

  • Realmente incrível a versão de There will never be another you com Cesar Camargo Mariano e Romero Lubambo do DVD Duo ao vivo no Fasano.

  • Parabens Romero e Cesar!!!!

Congrats......you guys make me proud to be Brazilian!!

  • The great thing about jazz, be it bop, brazilian, or whatever, is the flexibility the artist has to infuse his/her own interpretation into a standard. It should be judged on its own musical merit, not in comparison to other artists who might share common ground.

  • Loved it!

And everyone who don't like it, stop making pointless comments.

  • I don't want to hear some other group... I want to hear your music! If you can dish out the critiques, you've gotta have something that'll blow us away. Let's hear the self proclaimed World Class Musician...

  • Did you remove your two comments, one of which proclaimed you were a "World Class Musician".... and the other which indicated that the Russell Malone & Billy Taylor version puts this version to shame...? I notice that I don't see those comments anymore... wonder why you decided to remove them...? ...did you realize that you sounded very much like an immature adolescent even though you are 2 years older than half a century...? Ah, but you still called everyone who likes this version a dummy...

  • This is not just arpeggios... you wouldn't know melody if it hit you over the head. Also, this guitar player is extremely musical and sensitive to the music he's playing... lots of feeling and emotion. You need to get out of the muddy water you're in because it's definitely affecting your "World Class Musician" ears. If this doesn't sound good to you, you must have something that's totally out of this music's league... let's hear you Mr. World Class Musician, post us a link to your music.

  • Malone & Taylor plays another theme, this is the "one"

  • this is an awesome rendition

  • mudywaters1,

No offense, but you don't sound like a world class musician when you compare Molone and Taylor's performance with this one. Isn't that comparing apples and oranges? What do you mean "they put these two to shame"? Is that because Malone is playing faster?

I happen to be born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I am a musician! I know what Bossa sounds like and this guys are great!

Again, no offense, but i world class musician would talk like yourself, grow up!

  • russsel malone is paying you to say all that or what ? i feel the essence of bossa nova in this performance ,if you don´t like bossa nova , there is no problem , just say it. I already listened to Mr malone ´s version and i liked it , it sounds different and it´s ok, the same way this version sounds different because Lubambo and and camargo have another style and wanted to make t their song ´s version like this. you can´t judge it because for you this version sounds funeral.

  • You are a world class pile of crap.

  • These guys sound fantastic! It's beautiful music! Can you hear it?

Also, it's not from a very objective point of view when you proclaim you are a "World Class Musician".... is it?

Additionally, "World Class Musicians" have class (even if it's just a little). Judging from your comments (ie. "%$#@*&^"), you have no class. At least, not on this world...

  • I just got back from listening to the Russell Malone & Billy Taylor version. Totally different world of interpretation for the tune... Did this version (the one on this page) add just one too many worlds for you to handle, Mr. World Class Musician? They've added some very tasty chord substitutions in this arrangement (which you missed). This one also has a "thought out" arrangement versus the Malone version. The Malone version is typical of what you'd hear at a fake book casual gig.

  • Moorea11,

Listen to Russell Malone and Billy Taylor version of this song? They put these two to shame!!

  • this is bossa nova , you dumb , you can´t get it , right ? this is the typical style of bossa nova , so if you don´t like it , don ´t listen to it.

  • don't you think they've captured the sad nature of the tune?

the words aren't exactly "happy ever after" are they?

  • You sound like a retard.

  • I had the chance to talk with Romero a couple of times in L.A and N.Y and he´s not only the greatest guittar player i´ve met but he´s also one of the nicest persons i´ve met

  • unbelievably effortless musicianship. wow!

  • Nice and sweet playing; great guitar sound

(mic in front & piezzo build-in??)

  • What is happened to the World?

Why such a beautiful music is gone?

Or may be we got too old....

  • Melodically and harmonically there are a lot of nice things going on. My only complaint is that things are a bit too subdued and I wouldn't mind a little more momentum, energy, and drive.

  • Demasiado... Too great... way too great.. beyond great... Ok there are no words to describe this two great artists and this song.

  • Absolutly outstanding, professional music, made by real musicians!I like this much better than those routin shows by so called "stars".

  • This is just GREAT!
