and yes, geniuses, strength is associated with skill. Thats how you bench more as you keep training the movement and get more "skillful" at it. Any and all events/movements are a test of how well you can express your strength in said movement. So saying someone is stronger than someone else makes little sense unless you're comparing Mariusz pudzianowski with Justin bieber, lol so thats why you take a set of events and use a weighted average of the scores to pick a winner.

I've beat ppl in arm wrestling who were much stronger than me, it's a skill I promise. Like kicking field goals, yeah it helps to have giant quads but that guy isn't always the best.

It has EVERYthing to do with strength lol. STRENGTH = movement specific. Someone could bench a lot more than another guy but squat a lot less, or fucking curl a lot more but row a lot less etc etc etc. of course someone who is big and strong all over is likely to be stronger in a majority of movements than pthers, but at the WSM level they're all big, strong and putting up big numbers.. so strength depends on the event/movement. So magnus is stronger in this movement? THATS ALL :)

@trashbash2001 So his arm was in a bad position, happens frequently, unfortunately the force Magnus applied in that position was too much for his "structure". As far as who is stronger, those who DO lift fucking weights instead of just talking about it know that STRENGTH IS MOVEMENT (and yes, SKILL) SPECIFIC. The guy who benches 500 raw isn't necessarily "stronger" in a general sense than someone who benches 450 raw. Finally WSM is more about strength-endurance than pure strength.

That is exactly why technique is a much bigger factor in Arm Wrestling than just strength. Twisting to the side is very dangerous, and does not provide much power either. The worst thing is, if you are strong enough you can break your own damn arm. Magnus is PULLING, while Jones was TWISTING. That is how this exact same injury is very common in novice Arm Wrestlers. If you don't know what you're doing, don't Arm Wrestle. It does not matter how strong your bones are. You twist it, it breaks.
