I stayed at this hotel before (10 years ago) and I believe the elevators on the other side serves 12-17. There's another hotel that's on the same street (can't think of name) has some nice scenic elevators.

good question. i noticed that too. aparantely they are working on 18. next time i go there, ill explore a little more in depth

Maybe floors 12-17 are served by another elevator, or they're mechanical floors that are served by the freight elevators.

That would actually make sense because it looked like it took a bit of time transferring between 11 and 18.
