from Jose' Sepulveda, the Hermeterec.....He never disappoints....never. His perfect intonation, enunciation, phrasing, breath control......there has NEVER been anyone better. He never makes a mistake, as one commentyary read, and his guitarist seems to be a kindred spirit.
I found my video tape of this concert, and just had to play it all the way through, after seeing just the bits and pieces on here. At the end of 12th Of Never, which he sang to absolute perfection, (that the whole audience were very emotional,) when he stood up he almost seemed overcome with emotion himself. Of all the many concerts I have been to, I have never seen or heard him sing this song with so much emotion.
Ohhhhhh, Johnny, what you do to my heart!!!!!! I just love the way he sings so many love songs so slowly. You can't rush love. Thank you so much, Gerry, for two great treasures in one video. JM sure doesn't look like he thinks of what he will have for dinner when he sings; but, I guess that would be natural if you sing a song hundreds or thousands of times. I never get tired of listening to them, that's for sure...never will.
How wonderful! Johnny at his absolute best!!! I have loved him through all the decades, but the 80s were when he was at his supreme best. These 2 songs , he sang to perfection.
Thank you, friend, these are all fabulous, sweet, sweet songs- and the beautiful tempo Johnny chose for this concert and these songs makes them all the more touching. You're going to make a lot of people happy. Back at you! Adios :-)
