  • i did everything you said correctly but it isn't brushing isn't showing up:(

  • yep. gotta love the winu menu. <3

  • in my opinion you should have chosen another image to apply this effect to, its weird to se the two women in skirts while the snow is pouring down otherwise great tutorial :)

  • I've worked out what's wrong with the final image, something didn't look right, now I know what it is! The view distance.... in the snow you'd never see that far, it would be a lot more closed in.

  • awesome voice

  • I like the small blooper at the end :)

  • i like the blooper at the end =)

  • I gotta make an irrelevant comment. That shot is right across the street from me. The condo at the top right shares common elements with my building. Small world.

  • You probably thought it was snowing. Nope. Photoshop.

  • this was so freaking cool....can't wait to try it....

  • Wow that's pretty neat.

  • You sir, are out of control... Great tutorial!

  • you explain nice and clear! you're the best!

  • So much snow but no snow on the ground or buildings. :(

  • hey bro i'm photoshop beginner and i don't have alot brushes like rain brush or snow brush how to get them plz reply, subscribed :D

  • @taifhamid1 they aren't pre-made brushes. this tutorial shows you how to MAKE a snow brush. there are brushes you can download though - just do some google searches on photoshop brushes.

  • I'm not in a hurry to have snow...

  • I love tutorials like this. Could you do more tuts on how to achieve different effects? Things like the number flipper and CF power button are great and I certainly do enjoy them, but I prefer these.

  • Nice!! :)

  • That Puss In Boots advertisement has to be one of the best ones on Youtube yet, although the movie will still be terrible most likely.

  • There is no snow collecting on the trees or the sidewalk, though!

  • You rock! You've really helped me get my money's worth out of this program. Can't thank you enough.

  • hey I wanna get an Imac 2011 27", ahev you had any experince with them or do you know anything about the issues they come with?

  • hhhhh winiew

  • WOW.. thanksss so much..

could you please show how to make more brushes?? please..

  • i was wondering besides giving the snow falling, is there a tool to make patches of snow on the floors too?

  • Looks great in 1080p! :)

  • Just want to tell you how much I love your video tutorials and the written ones over at your website. I've learned so many new tricks that I can use in my graphic works. Thanks for putting these out there for us!

  • Ahh, HD.

  • Since there's no snow on the ground, we can assume it's just started snowing. However, if that was the case, i doubt it'd be snowing that heavily, so i think it would look a bit more convincing if you toned it down a bit. Also, those really close-up snowflakes look kind if cheesy/gimmicky. Great technique though!

  • wow!!!! this a great video man. I give you a thumb up.

  • Winu Menu xD ...

  • The problem with adding weather is the lack of other details in the actual photo such as patches of snow on the ground and puddles...etc

  • Pretty useful and the link to the written tutorial means Im not scribbling furiously trying to keep up with the video!!!!!!

  • Winyew.

  • Great tutorial, I will be creating that brush tonight. Oh and I love the occasional flubs you add at the end lol.

  • great tut, but remember is sky should be white/light grey when it snows.

  • great tut, but remember is sky should be white/light grey when it snows.

  • Vagina.

  • This snow tutorial look weird.. No snow on the ground .. :/

  • y u 1080p me?

  • love the mess ups at the end of your videos

  • I noticed that you didn't add a reduction of vision with distance: i.e. 20 meters away is whiter than 2 meters away. I think it would make it feel more realistic, but it would be a little more difficult, since you'd have to interact with objects in the image. How would you do it?

  • Winyou!

  • This is amazing. Sorry I spent m life in the theatre, this is so interesting I wish I cold really learn how to do it well and get a job.

  • @TeamDBTB yes it may not be the best way to make snow , its supposed to be a quick and an easy way

  • Winyou.

  • Note that the person in the middle of the picture is still wearing shorts while its snowing xD

  • Poor people wearing shorts while it's snowing :(

  • @TheFeronix that's why he said this is unrealistic :) and this is an example.
