Man, it's awesome that so many people are polarized about religion! :D I love that music this rockin can be a breeding ground for intellectual and spiritual discussion! I just pray that everyone keeps a cool head and can look for answers rather than yell about who is wrong or right. I know where I stand, but I cannot prove it true. Thus faith is born. But lets have some good discussion without all the name calling and prejudices. Sound cool? I think so. :D

@SierraBearrr no its just the music you like sucks :3 im saying that because you are disrespecting other peoples opinions and i respect this is your opinion but remember the old saying "if you cant think of something nice to say dont say anything at all"

GOD EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO THE BEGINNING OF THE SONG I FEEL LIKE IM WALKIN INTO A HUGE GLADIATORS STADIUM and bout to fight to the death.this song is so epic i cant even put it in words and dont give me started with the guitar solo!!! my ears just jizz with epicness whenever i play this song!!!!!!
Just have to say this... the people talking about religious history and what not, are pretty much just talking out of their asses for the most part. Now shut the fuck up and enjoy the music.
People should go teach fuckin history if they are so bothered to debate on the existence of Jesus Christ. Enjoy the damn music, i know you can't perfect 3 percent of what these guys are doing. So stop blowing your own trumpet.
@FuckTheAnointedOne I'm sure WoA's intentions weren't to spread the word of "God" in their songs, more-so to express their beliefs. But yeah, "Fuck religion! No gods, No masters!" I couldn't agree more!! Religion has never effected my choice in music; I'm Atheist and I -LOVE- WoA! They're still among my favorite bands to date, regardless of their religious affiliation..
@FuckTheAnointedOne i'm still willing to talk about it. i don't have a problem with atheists or anything. i only have a problem with the ones that disrespect my beliefs. i don't even like Christians who disrespect atheists. i think respect should go both ways. then i'm willing to talk.
@yllierutube how long have you studied Islam to finally decide that Muhammad pbuh stole anything prejudgments are really easy to make, in stead study the 3 religions closely, even if you don't and won't believe in the truth of any of the 3 religion you'll still find that though there are similarities between them they differ in CORE kinda facts
@DrowzeeBoy Islam is a moon worship cult derived from the primitive Arabic Pagan & Judeo-Christian theology. Muhammad simply discarded all but 1 god, Allah - the pagan moon god, of the 360 Arabic Pagan gods. Islamic believers still practice the same Pagan rituals such as kissing the same exact black-stone as the pagans once kissed, fasting, and praying 5x a day towards Mecca where in the same Kaaba the 360 pagan idols once were, etc. Even their calender is based on lunar cycles...
@yllierutube So, like people have pointed out, this is a REALLY bad place to have a "religious" debate with someone who sounds like they're regurgitating everything their professor told him...Because honestly, no one's going to take you seriously if you can't even pinpoint all the "myths" the Bible "stole from."
But yeah, it's a great band that makes great music and is changing people's ideas about Christian music!
WOW all these religious debates over a band that is in the "Metalcore" label is retarded. Metalcore is a subgenre of heavy metal combining various elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. This being said the fact that these guys are Christian has nothing to do with it. Their lyrics are based on life experiences, being positive and overcoming. So seriously all the religious debates aren't necessary. Religion or no religion one thing remains constant. Its good music and still Metalcore.
@metaIfanhk if you read up on information written down around the time Jesus Christ was born, you would have noticed lots of similarities. Like for example, ancient chinese history, they also wrote about the star that the scholars in the bible saw, and it lasted 70 days according to ancient chinese history texts, exactly the same amount of time needed for the scholars to travel to Bethlehem. Even in the Quran, Jesus was also mentioned.
@WhatTheCrapXD Just because jesus is mentioned in the quran doesn't mean that it somehow validates his existance. The quran is not a comprehensive scholarly document. The jesus character in this book is not even in the same context as the bible. If there was a jesus, don't you think there wouldn't be so many conflicting storylines of who he was or what he did? The quran wasn't even invented until 622 CE by the Muslim general Muhammad who plagiarized paganism & judeo-christianity
@yllierutube in reply to this the literacy rate in ancient egypt let alone israel is slim to none so the likelihoods of the scribe getting time off of work to record. but also remember that Israel was burned to the ground twice in the 1000 years after Christ, let alone all the times it was made into a state by an empire (i.e. Britain Persia Rome) so the likelihoods of these surviving is slim but it also says at the end of john to belive. and bel they clash because they are 2 different religions.
@yllierutube Did you know that if you look at the Documents of the Roman Empire u can find a document of Jesus Life AND, a document saying on how over 500 people saw him resurrect. And just for the record if you look at the dead sea scrolls(other documents) they also state that Jesus lived.
@MetalPain777 It's the political establishment that sought to historicize the Jesus figure for social control. In 325CE Rome, Emperor Constantine convened the Council of Nicea. During this meeting the politically motivated Christian doctrines were established. With that began a long history of religious bloodshed & spiritual fraud. Jesus was the solar deity of the Gnostic Christian sect, and like all other Pagan gods, he was a mythical figure.
@yllierutube Sorry but u are wrong because the house of virgin Mary proves it. Jesus's mother left to turkey(Mount. Koressos) after his resurrection with a Disciple of Jesus, John i believe. She is buried in turkey.
@MetalPain777 Wait, are you sure she's in turkey? Last time I heard, she was busy making guest appearences on grilled cheese sandwhiches somewhere in middle America. Actually, the virgin birth is a common motif in mythology. Attis, Buddha, Dionysus, Hercules, Horus, Krishna, Mithra, Quetzalcoatl, Zoroaster and many others deities all have the virgin birth on Dec 25 (winter soltice), and many of the exact same attributes like 12 disciples, performed miracles, crucifixion, death & ressurection etc
@yllierutube why dont u look it up? she's there. ok before this turns into an aggressive argument, i'm gonna say people believe what they want to believe, u have ur facts and i have mine, i don't have to see to believe, if u do the that's just you. Just let me say God(Jesus) is inevitable. i'll be praying 4 ya
@MetalPain777 As for the Gnostic & Essenic origins of Christianity, see the works of John Allegro, one of the select few who were initially allowed to analyze the famed Dead Sea Scrolls found in 1947 dated between 2nd century BCE-1st century CE. Allegro describes what was learned about the Essene/Gnostic Christians and presents the idea that the biblical "Jesus" of the gospels is a fictional interpolation of a prior Gnostic or other brotherhood figure, possibly an Essene teacher.
@yllierutube i see u watched a lot of Zeitgeist. Let me tell u 1 thing. Zeitgeist has its facts wrong. Look for buddha or krishna ( or odin like it was said in Zeitgeist) in google. It will give u tons of researches that prove u are wrong. Did u know that Buddhist DO NOT BELIEVE that Buddha’s mother was a virgin.
The Buddha suffered no cruxifiction, he had fasted and ordealed, but never died from them. He died from eathing pork from a blacksmith.
@yllierutube If you study your history correctly (obviously you have not!!) Constantine the Great have so called Christianized (Again it should be “Catholic-ized”) the pagan religions, and gods (Isis, Horus, & Osiris) which in their origin, derived from Egypt.
@yllierutube When Rom and Greece settled in Egypt, these two countries were influenced by the Egyptian paganism and eventually worshipped the same gods. When Contantine (who were then the ruler of the Roman Empire) decided to favor the rise of Christianity among the Romans, he did not change entirely the nature of the gods and their worship, but rather he researched the Christian theology and find the parallelism with the gods they worshipped.
@yllierutube I would like to clarify if you are implying that Jesus of Nazareth did not exist. If you are I am afraid that you are in the radical minority of people. Even Bart Ehrman, an atheist historian, says that out of the thousands of serious biblical and historical scholars he knows not a single one doubts the existence of Jesus, including himself.
@sherpernurnun Not only am I in the minority, but now I’m radical too? Ha-ha, minority or not isn’t relevant to anything. "atheist historian"? One who studies the history of not believing in something? Do you mean historian who is an atheist? If so, how can you be an atheist and still believe in jesus? What do you mean by "serious" scholars? Anyone who agrees with your point of view? MANY scholars dismiss the biblical jesus of the gospels as a fictional interpolation. Your video is a joke...
@yllierutube Why am I not suprised. Sigh. I was implying a historian of the New Testament who is an atheist. Are you kidding me? Do you actually know what atheism is or are you that dense? Atheism is the assertion that there is no God. That has nothing to do with a belief that the historical person Jesus of Nazareth existed. Bart, when referring to serious biblical scholars, are ones who actually work in the field are not making comments they are not qualified to make. Name one. Not my video.
@sherpernurnun As stated by The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia (VI, 83):
"The only definite account of his life and teachings is contained in the four Gospels of the New Testament. All other historical records of the time are silent about him. The brief mentions of Jesus in the writings of Josephus, Tacitus and Suetonius have been generally regarded as not genuine and as Christian interpolations. Some scholars have even gone so far as to hold that the entire Jesus story is a myth"
@sherpernurnun The Egyptian religion is likely the primary foundational basis for the Judeo-Christian theology. Baptism, afterlife, final judgment, virgin birth, death and resurrection, crucifixion, Ark of the Covenant, circumcision, saviors, Holy Communion, great flood, Easter, Christmas, Passover and many more, are all attributes of Egyptian ideas, long predating Christianity and Judaism. Religions have been "borrowing" and building upon each other for thousands of years.
@sherpernurnun Jesus is really no more real than any of the other NUMEROUS pre-Christian saviors who was also born of virgin on Dec 25 (winter solstice), performed miracles, teacher at age 12, had 12 disciples/followers, crucified, died and was buried for 3 days, resurrected, ascended to heaven etc... In fact, those are the most common mythical attributes throughout ancient mythology. Jesus was the solar deity of the Gnostic Christian sect, and like all other Pagan gods, he was a mythical figure
@yllierutube Only a fool would actually think that Jesus of Nazareth is born on December 25th. I will admit that I am not well versed in pagan religions and mythology so I would politely ask you to give me some examples of the exact criteria you pointed out please. I am still quite confused on what basis you deny that the person Jesus actually existed. I would ask what historical evidence, or lack thereof, has led you to this conclusion.
@sherpernurnun Dec. 25th/winter-solstice birthday was adopted by Christianity in the 3rd century. The Christian world has thus been celebrating Jesus‘s birthday on Dec. 25th for the past nearly 1700 years—it is obvious why this birthday was attached to Christian tradition: It represented the winter solstice, the time of the year when the sun is "born", and Jesus was the "new sun" of the Christians. "on that day on which that Sun was born…Christ should be born" -Catholic Encyclopedia, III, 727
@yllierutube Um, are you that dense? The Egyptian religion came after Judaism smart one. That's widely agreed upon as Abraham's first son to his maid Ishmael, the founder of the Eastern religions, obviously came AFTER Abraham. If you cant understand something that basic then i cant help you. Dont talk about stuff you have no clue about.
Please explain and give a comparative example of each point.......for example, the Passover is what killed the Egyptian first-born children during the Jewish Exile in Egypt. So, of course it is mutually Egyptian in origin.
@yllierutube I am not trying to convert you or anything...but you may want to check your facts. The actual Hebrew texts and scrolls record accounts of Jesus as do the Dead Sea scrolls. The existence of Jesus has already been historically proven, whether you believe in his deity or not is another matter. But its been recorded in numerous texts that he was a real person.
@ianmaphet It's quite futile to argue that Dec 25 isn't the 'real' date of his birthday, since myths do not have "real birthdays". In reality, the gospel story of Jesus is not a factual portrayal of a historical “master” who walked the earth 2,000 years ago but a myth built upon other myths and godmen, who in turn were personifications of the ubiquitous solar mythos and ritual found in countless cultures around the world thousands of years before the Christian era.
@yllierutube AND it's quite futile to try to sound like you know what you're talking about when it's painfully obvious you're just trying to sound like you know what you're talking about.
What myths are you talking about? There are no other myths where God Himself came in the form of man to take on the punishment for their sins. There are no other myths where God Himself died and on the third day rose again, and"ubiquitous solar mythos" (what does that even mean? you just trying to sound smart?)
@yllierutube The Jesus story was not an exact carbon copy of just one religion, but incorporated a collection of common elements from the tales of many other deities recorded in a widespread area; most or all of whom were "crucified," executed or suffered otherwise such as:
Apollo, Jupiter/Zeus, Sol Invictus, Attis, Buddha/Beddhu, Hesus, Horus, Osiris, Serapis, Krishna, Mithra, Prometheus, Zarathustra/Zoroaster, and Dionysus to name a few of MANY.
@metaIfanhk the ironic part is that he was never in egypt in fact the king of egypt had everyone killed that was under 2 years old, in fact they FLED from eygpt in order to save jesus and keep him alive. AND he was also not only featured in other religions as a prophet, they have records on john the baptist who predicted jesus. you say somthing about coins. never in the bible did he have his face on coin let alone they would let a criminal be on a coin (do you see john wilkes booth on a coin)
@hazardfreak1524 Of course Jesus wasn't in egypt, the title of that book is a reference to how the character jesus, being a literary and astrological hybrid, is most explicitly a plagiarization of the Egyptian sun god Horus. Mention of jesus in other religions does not validate his existence. It's actually common in religions for the newer religions to either downgrade the previous god into a prophet or something like that, or just simply demonize them altogether.
@yllierutube while this maybe true the worship of said sun god stopped around the time of the roman expansion. and if i am correct the romans were very destructive and wanted to shove (like today) belifes. and while it is common to plagerize other stories where do they get the rest of the plagerism for his life. you place you entire argument on the fact of possible pagerism that have some connection not all. the basis is flawed in itself even that story can be copied. so please come back later.
@IIIlllIIllllIIIlIIlI I'm fully aware. That's one of the reasons I enjoy them on a lyrical level. However that doesn't justify most of the comments being people whining/fighting/flaming each other over it. I may be crazy, but I assumed that we all came here for the band, the song, and the video; not to start menial wars.
All complaints are from demons being upset about the Truth ,,, Truth, Lucifer has lost all humanity to Christ's death on the cross. Now, call on the Lord God to prove this fact to you my friend. You will not regret it.
@metaIfanhk Not trying to start an argument, but there HAVE been documents taken by Romans which speak of Jesus Christ. Romans were the best at keeping documents in their time. At the same time we do not need those documents to believe in something. Everything in the bible is tied to faith in some way. All we need is faith.
@THEPBPLAYER97 It was the political establishment that sought to historicize the Jesus figure for social control. In 325 CE Rome, Emperor Constantine convened the Council of Nicea. During this meeting the politically motivated Christian doctrines were established & thus began a long history of religious bloodshed & spiritual fraud. Instilling the psychological distortion of faith, where logic & new information is rejected in favor of traditionalized outdated beliefs is dangerous.
@metaIfanhk actually there are many primary sources. Many 1st century philosophers were at the crucifixion and described the scene in great detail. The four accounts of christ in the Bible are all first hand, and two of them were completely credible historians. For them to lie about christ living and dying on the cross would be completely out of character and non-sensual. There are over 50 accounts at least that are first hand, but we already have 4 perfectly good ones.
Whats up with you athiests and your bashing? So what? We believe what we want, you go on with believing nothing. You don't have to start your debates here. Especially on a christian bands video, dont say were preaching to you, you came to this video so shush.
@fritolay7777777 Just because im discrediting christianity doesnt mean I am an atheist. Thats like saying because your not Jewish you are an atheist. This is one of the problems with organized religion...When people ask what religion i am a part of i always say "my own" because thats all that matters
@vXPikaJewXv to you it might be all that matters, but as christians we were not made to go through this world alone. If you look at christianity as a religion, it will fail. You need to look at it as a relationship with Christ, because that's how we learn about him and grow close to him. I agree, religion is stupid. But it is more logical and factual when you actually look at the bible for what it's really worth. there's a reason its been around for more than 2000 years.
@Irealizethersnoreply Christianity IS a religion. It is based off pagan myths and holidays. Even the myth of Jesus is very closely related with past "saviors" such as Horus and Krishna. I once did look at the bible for what it was worth and all I found was contradiction. I do agree with the teachings of it that we should love everyone, but the Judeo-Christian God acts like a douchebag (according to the bible anyway). There are plenty of religions that have been around for WAY more than 2000yrs
@metaIfanhk google Josephus. he was a historian. Luke from the Bible was an actual historian. and the fact is Jesus was mostly in Israel. Jerusalem where the most records were held was totally destroyed and rome the empire that held Israel was in a huge fire killing off most records.
@WrestlingGenius777 LOL i love when people bring up Josephus. It shows how little they know about church history. Josephus is not a reliable source. He wrote a bunch of history in his book which the name escapes me at the moment, but he only wrote around 1 paragraph regarding Jesus. If he was so magical dont you think he wouldve written more than one paragraph?
@WrestlingGenius777 "Luke from the bible" is admitted to have never even met Jesus, as denoted in the gospel of Luke. In fact, the gospels were written pseudonymously; meaning Luke himself was not the author of the gospels of Luke. Not only is there no first-hand accounts of Jesus from Luke, but at best there are only secondary hearsay accounts; meaning "I heard from a guy, that heard from a guy".. etc, & these weren't even written until many years after Jesus’ supposed death
@WrestlingGenius777 Four historians are typically referenced to justify Jesus’ existence: Pliny the younger, Suetonius, Tacitus are the first three. Each one of their entries consists of only a few sentences at best and only refer to “Christus” or the Christ, which in fact is not name but a title. It means the “Anointed one.” The fourth source is Josephus, and this source has been proven to be a forgery for hundreds of years. Sadly, it is still cited as truth.
@WrestlingGenius777 you want evidence? How about scholars openly admitting much of Josephus' work was a forgery by later chaurch historian Eusebius. Seeing as it wont allow to post links i will just simply say, google is your friend
I think that everyone should just calm down o.o Every time I look at the comments on a YouTube video that is supposed to be used to bring people together and create a common interest, everyone feels obliged to argue about it and force beliefs upon the so-called "enemy" in the situation. What have we here, 6 year olds?
@metalfanhk yeah I truly think that you need to go through more history books, There are no historical scholars that i have read and even watched interviews on that would agree with you, the whole thing of Jesus as myth is only shared by a very small majority in the scholary world. Most men even Christpher hitchens, sam harris and others know that Jesus existed they just just doubt that he's the messiah or God. Open your mind more about what your reading.
For the God Haters there is a thing called faith. God has shown him self to me too clearly to ever turn back. There is only one God that has the power to turn around a mans life and that is Jesus Christ who died, rose again and conquered death!
keep religion out of this I'm christian and always will be no matter anybody says. I came here to listen to some damn good music to watch people arguing over something that will be in debate probably forever.
Lol @ the idiots on youtube who argue with other idiots and try to change their opinions. How many times on youtube have you seen someone say, "you know you're right man I'm sorry you just proved me wrong I was wrong the whole time"? NONE. Why do you guys sit on youtube on waste your time argueing? Do you actually think you're going to win? No one ever wins. Just enjoy the music damn..
I love the melody! Makes me want to head bang for Christ! :) 777!!!!

WhatTheCrapXD 2 months ago

MetalPain777 2 months ago

@yllierutube If you study your history correctly (obviously you have not!!) Constantine the Great have so called Christianized (Again it should be “Catholic-ized”) the pagan religions, and gods (Isis, Horus, & Osiris) which in their origin, derived from Egypt.
battleffield1945 1 month ago
@yllierutube When Rom and Greece settled in Egypt, these two countries were influenced by the Egyptian paganism and eventually worshipped the same gods. When Contantine (who were then the ruler of the Roman Empire) decided to favor the rise of Christianity among the Romans, he did not change entirely the nature of the gods and their worship, but rather he researched the Christian theology and find the parallelism with the gods they worshipped.

@yllierutube I would like to clarify if you are implying that Jesus of Nazareth did not exist. If you are I am afraid that you are in the radical minority of people. Neat video for you:

@sherpernurnun Not only am I in the minority, but now I’m radical too? Ha-ha, minority or not isn’t relevant to anything. "atheist historian"? One who studies the history of not believing in something? Do you mean historian who is an atheist? If so, how can you be an atheist and still believe in jesus? What do you mean by "serious" scholars? Anyone who agrees with your point of view? MANY scholars dismiss the biblical jesus of the gospels as a fictional interpolation. Your video is a joke...
yllierutube 1 month ago
@yllierutube Why am I not suprised. Sigh. I was implying a historian of the New Testament who is an atheist. Are you kidding me? Do you actually know what atheism is or are you that dense? Atheism is the assertion that there is no God. That has nothing to do with a belief that the historical person Jesus of Nazareth existed. Bart, when referring to serious biblical scholars, are ones who actually work in the field are not making comments they are not qualified to make. Name one. Not my video.
sherpernurnun 1 month ago
@sherpernurnun As stated by The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia (VI, 83):
"The only definite account of his life and teachings is contained in the four Gospels of the New Testament. All other historical records of the time are silent about him. The brief mentions of Jesus in the writings of Josephus, Tacitus and Suetonius have been generally regarded as not genuine and as Christian interpolations. Some scholars have even gone so far as to hold that the entire Jesus story is a myth"
yllierutube 1 month ago
@sherpernurnun The Egyptian religion is likely the primary foundational basis for the Judeo-Christian theology. Baptism, afterlife, final judgment, virgin birth, death and resurrection, crucifixion, Ark of the Covenant, circumcision, saviors, Holy Communion, great flood, Easter, Christmas, Passover and many more, are all attributes of Egyptian ideas, long predating Christianity and Judaism. Religions have been "borrowing" and building upon each other for thousands of years.

In fact, those are the most common mythical attributes throughout ancient mythology. Jesus was the solar deity of the Gnostic Christian sect, and like all other Pagan gods, he was a mythical figure
yllierutube 1 month ago 8
@yllierutube Only a fool would actually think that Jesus of Nazareth is born on December 25th. I will admit that I am not well versed in pagan religions and mythology so I would politely ask you to give me some examples of the exact criteria you pointed out please. I am still quite confused on what basis you deny that the person Jesus actually existed. I would ask what historical evidence, or lack thereof, has led you to this conclusion.
sherpernurnun 1 month ago
@sherpernurnun Dec. 25th/winter-solstice birthday was adopted by Christianity in the 3rd century. The Christian world has thus been celebrating Jesus‘s birthday on Dec. 25th for the past nearly 1700 years—it is obvious why this birthday was attached to Christian tradition: It represented the winter solstice, the time of the year when the sun is "born", and Jesus was the "new sun" of the Christians. "on that day on which that Sun was born…Christ should be born" -Catholic Encyclopedia, III, 727

@yllierutube Um, are you that dense? The Egyptian religion came after Judaism smart one. But its been recorded in numerous texts that he was a real person.
tribldragon 1 month ago
@yllierutube Which "mythic" figures are you talking about? Because I know mythology fairly well and I have no idea what you're talking about.
And oh, Jesus was not born on Dec. 25. It was actually sometime in April.
ianmaphet 3 weeks ago
@ianmaphet It's quite futile to argue that Dec 25 isn't the 'real' date of his birthday, since myths do not have "real birthdays". In reality, the gospel story of Jesus is not a factual portrayal of a historical “master” who walked the earth 2,000 years ago but a myth built upon other myths and godmen, who in turn were personifications of the ubiquitous solar mythos and ritual found in countless cultures around the world thousands of years before the Christian era.
yllierutube 3 weeks ago 2
@yllierutube AND it's quite futile to try to sound like you know what you're talking about when it's painfully obvious you're just trying to sound like you know what you're talking about.
What myths are you talking about? There are no other myths where God Himself came in the form of man to take on the punishment for their sins. There are no other myths where God Himself died and on the third day rose again, and"ubiquitous solar mythos" (what does that even mean? you just trying to sound smart?)
ianmaphet 3 weeks ago

AND he was also not only featured in other religions as a prophet, they have records on john the baptist who predicted jesus. you say somthing about coins. never in the bible did he have his face on coin let alone they would let a criminal be on a coin (do you see john wilkes booth on a coin)
hazardfreak1524 2 months ago
@hazardfreak1524 Of course Jesus wasn't in egypt, the title of that book is a reference to how the character jesus, being a literary and astrological hybrid, is most explicitly a plagiarization of the Egyptian sun god Horus. Mention of jesus in other religions does not validate his existence. It's actually common in religions for the newer religions to either downgrade the previous god into a prophet or something like that, or just simply demonize them altogether.
yllierutube 2 months ago
@yllierutube while this maybe true the worship of said sun god stopped around the time of the roman expansion. and if i am correct the romans were very destructive and wanted to shove (like today) belifes. and while it is common to plagerize other stories where do they get the rest of the plagerism for his life. you place you entire argument on the fact of possible pagerism that have some connection not all. the basis is flawed in itself even that story can be copied. so please come back later.

There are over 50 accounts at least that are first hand, but we already have 4 perfectly good ones.

vXPikaJewXv 2 months ago
@vXPikaJewXv to you it might be all that matters, but as christians we were not made to go through this world alone. If you look at christianity as a religion, it will fail. You need to look at it as a relationship with Christ, because that's how we learn about him and grow close to him. I agree, religion is stupid. But it is more logical and factual when you actually look at the bible for what it's really worth. there's a reason its been around for more than 2000 years.
Irealizethersnoreply 2 months ago
@Irealizethersnoreply Christianity IS a religion. It is based off pagan myths and holidays. Even the myth of Jesus is very closely related with past "saviors" such as Horus and Krishna. I once did look at the bible for what it was worth and all I found was contradiction. I do agree with the teachings of it that we should love everyone, but the Judeo-Christian God acts like a douchebag (according to the bible anyway). There are plenty of religions that have been around for WAY more than 2000yrs

WrestlingGenius777 2 months ago
@WrestlingGenius777 LOL i love when people bring up Josephus. It shows how little they know about church history. Josephus is not a reliable source. He wrote a bunch of history in his book which the name escapes me at the moment, but he only wrote around 1 paragraph regarding Jesus. If he was so magical dont you think he wouldve written more than one paragraph?
vXPikaJewXv 2 months ago
@WrestlingGenius777 "Luke from the bible" is admitted to have never even met Jesus, as denoted in the gospel of Luke. In fact, the gospels were written pseudonymously; meaning Luke himself was not the author of the gospels of Luke. Not only is there no first-hand accounts of Jesus from Luke, but at best there are only secondary hearsay accounts; meaning "I heard from a guy, that heard from a guy".. etc, & these weren't even written until many years after Jesus’ supposed death
yllierutube 2 months ago
@WrestlingGenius777 Four historians are typically referenced to justify Jesus’ existence: Pliny the younger, Suetonius, Tacitus are the first three. Each one of their entries consists of only a few sentences at best and only refer to “Christus” or the Christ, which in fact is not name but a title. It means the “Anointed one.” The fourth source is Josephus, and this source has been proven to be a forgery for hundreds of years. Sadly, it is still cited as truth.
