I think based on the size of the model it is very well crafted. It's difficult to put a lot of detail in a LEGO model of a ship with layers of physical attributes. If it was made 3/4 times larger, I'm sure more would be added. For the material you had to work with, I'd say you did a very good job.

This old ship is permantly based in Long Beach, Los Angeles but the Queen Mary 2 departs from England, sails across the Atlantic Ocean and arrives in New York. These ships all belong to the Cunard Line.

California is a very large state and when you are speaking to people from around the world you have to be more specific about what main city its closest too. Many people i have spoken to never realised this ship was based in greater L.A coz all they saw was Long Beach California and so missed out.
