Chatham was great place for trains... there was railroading history CSX,CP and CN. The diamond and the station all made for such a great seen. This is really unfortunate what is happening to the rails in Chatham.
Are you serious?? I went to Wheels Inn when I was younger and loved it. I remember seeing freights from the hotel room and having a great time at the park.

I'm angry that they shut down the CSX line. CN did take the line over but no more trains cross over the old bridge. CN only uses the cemetary part of it.
I was in chatham today, the diamond in the begining of this video is torn up and thrown aside and the station is also gone. I walked across the bridge and there were a tone of weeds on the tracks but there was no rust on the rails. So im geussing CN uses it to exchange cars with CP using the transfer track to the right in this video.
And yah i agree wiht you, id love to see CSX in chatham still, stupid CN..

It sucks! Wheels Inn in Chatham On. Is closing on July 1st 2009. To turn into a Holiday Inn. :(
