One thing to consider is that we made this within 48 hours of seeing Doctor Horrible for the first time! Maybe it was a little closer to 72 hours of the first time I saw it, but then I asked Laura the next day and from deciding that we were going to make the video, it was done in under 48 hours. I wanted to get it done before the San Diego Comicon, plus everything came together very quickly

Funny thing about the title, I originally called it a parody, but then I started getting comments from people saying it was more of a remake than a parody, so I changed it to remake, but then I got the comments from a new set of people its not a remake, its a parody, so I realized I really can't put one or the other without hearing it from someone, so I put both.

I don't know why people are thumbs down-ing comments that say this video is good. I enjoyed it :) Its obvious you enjoyed the movie and did a good job of replicating scenes. I like how you added your own little bits of dialogue too, those were funny. People need to be less precious of the original clip and let fans have their fun!

Thank you! This video has generated both positive and negative responses from people, but the negative people don't seem to realize that this is a FAN film, made by someone who likes Dr. Horrible, I would tell them to lighten up a little, but I have found that most of them are between 14 and 17 and looking at there other comments they have posted, they just go from place to place telling everyone what they are doing wrong, but they almost never make videos themselves!

And as to why...well, I had just seen Dr. Horrible and Laura had said she had wanted to do a video, so I put the two together and within 48 saying "would you want to do a Dr. Horrible video" it was posted. So I didn't really think about it, just did it and it was a lot of fun. Artistically its not as fullfilling as doing your own stuff, but I did what I set out to do, which was to see if I could do a good remake, so in that way I felt like I had accomplished something.

I used Adobe Premere Elements....there is a couple ways to do it with that program and lots of tutorials of people of youtube to show you how to do it. Its really not that hard of an effect to do. Good luck!
