  • keep on truckin,, although full pullups is a matter of definition, you are awesome''

    g

  • i wish my grandma and grandpa over 60...can even go upstairs... =(

  • very impressive for someone over 70

  • I agree with Ikefis, nikerocks & the other people who gave you the thumbs up (of which I am the 100th) :D

Well done man, if I'm still alive at 70...actually scratch that, I don't wanna be alive at 70 if I can't be at least as fit you!!

Ps. I bet if they'd played you some rock n roll in that gym instead of what they played, then you would have hammered out 40 pull ups ;D

    Nice one dude!!

  • kip-ups?

  • Good show brother..The negative posts are from ignorant couch potatoes..Keep it up!

  • Nice work bro! check my page i just made a new video!!!

  • wow great job. ill be 70 in about 53 years haha

  • Great video, Im 52,and I can do 15, but at your age 30 pull-ups, thats truly great. What is the rest of your workout like? Do you do weights also or just bodyweight workouts? Keep up the great work, A terrific video.

  • Kudos!

  • I'm 35, in what I considered up until now, "decent shape," and can't do more than two chin ups. I feel shame.

  • half reps and he needs to not move his legs

  • @best496 shut the fuck up, retard

  • @giugnhgbvinierngvb89 shut the fuck up, retard

  • And btw he's doing chin ups.

  • He sure does talk better than he can accomplish a pull up.

  • @AndyHarglesis you're some 40 year old pedophile who likes to talk shit on channels of people who have actually accomplished something. Do you do this just to try and piss people off, or do you have some kind of mental illness?

  • @AndyHarglesis Wow the typical hater on youtube that no one can see or look like, ill be surprised if you can do one

  • Great shape for any age.

  • anyone else laugh at the title?

  • Those are halves.

  • Well done sir. I can tell from this video you`re living a good life. I`m 61 and you`ve inspired me. Thankyou.

  • I'm 13, DOPE-FREE and I can do MANY impressive feats of strength, far greater than most YouTubers, including a 620lbs deadlift RAW using no straps. XD

  • @13andincredibly0cut I also do 400 1arm pullups, all natural. No lie. It's all true. I will post a video someday. Please subscribe. It's true. No lie. I can also lift a full sized Hummer over my head. It's true. Subscribe.

  • i wanna be like him when i'm 70. and i loved the ending lol

  • yeah fair enough he wasnt doin it right and had pretty poor form but give the guy his props he's over 70 years old, dude is killin it imo.

  • wait..those are chin ups o-o

  • poor form

  • this guys doing it all wrong for the first 10 he was okay but after that his form got fucked up the ass

  • @NinjaAssasin95 give him credit 70 years old man if you are at his age your cant do one pullup

  • @NinjaAssasin95

Post your video when you turn 70.

  • you are fucking awesome

  • First of all not pullups. Second of all they weren't all proper form for chinups. Third, I still think it's quite impressive for a guy of his age. All in all a good video.

  • He may be old, but correct form never dies.....

    Learn some, gramps.

  • @13andincrediblycut lmao i cant believe u said that , thats funny omg lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ahhhhhh ! lol

  • lmao the end.... this guy is out of his bald mind

  • not pull-ups

  • im 13 200 and i can do 73 pull ups no stop

  • @13andincrediblycut I thought it was 100 in your other troll post? lol.

  • @etean No, that's 100 chin ups. I can do 73 pull ups.

And I don't make troll posts fyi. :P

  • @13andincrediblycut shut up

  • @oshytipupd You shush,.

  • @13andincrediblycut NO ONE BELIEVES YOU YOU LITTLE CUNT. Post some proof fuckhead.

  • @13andincrediblycut yeah bull shit fat ass lose some weight

  • @TehQuban I'm all muscle and in perfect-shape for being only 13 and dope-free.

Get your facts straight before you gloat like a caged monkey.

  • These are Chin-ups (easier) not Pull-ups (harder) and only 1/2 reps after the first dozen plus plus he's kipping a what a tiny skinny guy! If I was that small I could blow him away, I pull 220 pounds at 62 years old and it is tough but I'm old school and pull-ups need to be overhand with no kipping and full range. It's sad when I go to the gym and see trainees performing half and quarter rep exercises.

  • @tomjonesfitness typical condescending response from some insecure muscle head.

  • @tomjonesfitness Its sad when I see fat people talking about fitness and theyre the old school type who think that the best form of working out is a series of high weight low rep exercises.

  • pffft, not the best form i've seen but very good for you age non the less....unfortunately there's not much you can do about your body dying ...

  • lol..love the Rocky theme at the end. When I am 70, I will consider myself lucky if I can do 10 of those.

  • Thats fantastic, incredibly strong!!! lets have some more vids please

  • those are chin-ups

  • "ok so,ur judd freeman" "well no i am John McCain."

  • good stuff man

  • Wow. To do it strict form and pausing at the bottom takes a lot of strength.

  • grande!!!!!!!

....un 70enne allenato si fotte un 20enne in salute.....

    ..vai nonnino!!!!!

  • im 13 200lbs and can do 72 proper dead hang non kipping pull ups.

but i should not compare myself to EVERY ONE.......:)

  • @13andincrediblycut fuck u liar

  • @wesley830 its true dude.

  • oh my god this guys fucking brilliant

  • Great advice great story!!

  • Great job! Like Jack Lallane says "Exercise is king, nutrition is queen!" KEEP IT UP YOU LOOK GREAT FOR 70! YOU AREN'T IN A NURSING HOME LIKE MOST AMERICANS YOUR AGE! CONGRATULATIONS!

  • I just posted another video two years later. Here at age 72 I do 21 chins. But my form is better.

  • Very good.. I have a heck of a time trying to do more than 1 or 2..

  • Impressive! really impressive

  • good job!

  • Amazing for an old dude but he nearly instantly stopped doing deadhangs and also stopped going above the bar. I'd asusme he could do 10-15 full chinups. Amazing for an old dude, tho, regardless.

  • thats intense for 70 years old but i didnt like how u didnt bring your chin above the bar.

  • I bet it that man hits you , your going to the icu . old men are strong as hell

  • wow wow wow that's a lot of chins for a 70 year old!!

    you're an inspiration :'D

  • Cool!

  • What the balls i cant even do that. Props man

  • great.. keep it up !!

    Im really impressed..

    But those are chinups...

  • Good work sir! And I don't know why people keep saying chinups are easier. You're still moving your body weight so it just depends on what set of muscles are stronger in you. I can do 30 perfect pullups but nowhere near that many chinups. I have thin arms but my lats are incredibly strong so for me, pullups are much easier than chins, especially wide grip pullups.

Keep at it, there are lots of 70 yr olds that can barely lift their soup spoon to their mouth so you rock!!!

  • Hi its me the old guy himself. I should have done fewer in better form. I can do 24 now in pretty good form, a lot better than the video. I have been thinking of doing it over so all you young guys won't beat me up for the lousy form.

  • stupid way of pull ups, other way hands are better + he is not doing them full... just lifst a little bit

  • @xToxicamaNx Chin up is better than pull ups you dickwad. You get better results with chin.

  • @TemplarX2 ha-ha ? they are not better, just ofcourse better for biceps, not other muscles...

    nothing impressive....

  • @xToxicamaNx Chin up is a superior exercise for overall upper body development. Just compare somebody who does Chin up to somebody with pull ups. I'm talking about heavy weighted chin up not normal chin.

  • DAVE, I reached a plateau but it took years to get there. Sometimes I would add an extra pull up and then fall back. So it was not a steady increase. Lately I have been trying to do full extension pull ups and chin ups without cheating. I can do about 23-25 good ones. In June 2010 I will be 72 years old.

  • it took you years to reach a plateau of 32 pull ups? that doesnt make sense.. if you didnt reach a sticking point for years you should be in the hunderds even if you added only a few every couple weeks

  • Very impressive for a guy his age, but he started to botch it after the 15th pull-up, nonetheless, I am not hating and hope I can match him when I am that old or not-so-old for that matter

  • Despite them being chin-ups and despite the quipping, still congratulations.

  • Thanks for the correction. Chin Ups. I can do 25 good ones. I should really do it over instead of making excuses.

  • @NerdbirdX I'm glad to hear that you took my comments positively. I'll be waiting to see the new video. I can do 20 chin-ups and 21 pull-ups, for now. I will strive to increase the number of repetitions and their form as well. I'm 29 and weigh around 73 kg.

  • @Sebastian198004 That is great. At your age I am sure you have not peaked yet. I weigh about 76-77 kg. I have no immediate plans to video another performance. Maybe when its warmer and I can go to our nearby park.

  • Sir, I hope i will look like you, if i will reach 70.

  • Bravo! Sir.

  • nice man

  • Well to be perfectly honest, they weren't pull-ups, but chin-ups, which are easier, and the form was kind of lousy as well. But looking at him, it's still pretty damn impressive. :P

  • fuck you man damn fuckin stupid comment

  • He would probably have been much much stronger if he didnt do it EACH day when he was 40 or whatever hes age was when he started. Resting a day between each workout is FTW in long term.

  • I should have done 25 good ones instead of 31 sloppy ones. But thanks anyway for the messages of encouragement.

  • Nice work man! Excellent work ethic!

  • didnt really clear bar and straigten sometimes...but the heck?!! hes good i cant even do half that damn!

  • Very impressive and great ending!

  • You're my hero now!

  • thats fuckin impressive!

  • your amazing man! great work!

  • дедуля красапета!

  • Very Impressive!

  • This guy can kick Sylvester Stallone's butt and make Rambo look like a school girl.

  • DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • impresive keep it up. try sum bartendaz if u can

  • i know when you see videos of exercises ppl be looking for perfect form etc, but come on guys, imagine yourself when your 70, pull ups will be least of ur worries lol,

  • Technically those are kipping chin-ups, but still very impressive!

  • Holy cow. Next time I will post 24 good chin ups to satisfy the perfectionists.

  • hehe, same person.. then ur 1/1000 of sylvester stalone xD

  • he was making a joke sherlock

  • he thinks he's rambo hahaha he is 1/1000 of rambo

  • Of course I do not think I am Rambo. I am Rocky Balboa II.

  • arent those chin ups not pull ups

  • yes they are. chin ups that is

  • The 3 first were the only ones that counted. After that it's just an old guy struggling to move.

  • lmfao

  • I don't like the title ! you are not an old guy, you are superman !

  • That is a nice job for an old guy like that esp starting so late. Tough exercise for most people. BTW, those are NOT pullups, they are CHIN UPS. Pullups are palms away, chins are palms in & a lot easier to do. Still a good job.

  • cuz theyre soo much easier omg hes fuckn 70 year old and everyone knows the difference no need to be the internet police

  • he's kipping

  • so fukn what?

  • @etean You probably can't even do one. And at 70 years old, I'd love to see you even do a negative.

  • that was the most retarded reply to my comment. what i was talking about is so what if he's kipping, hes 70. no need to tell you my numbers....suffice to say i doubt you can do more than i can. but who the fuck cares? this is the internet and i could be lieing and you could be sixteen years old. so no point in arguing. think before you post next time bud.

  • people half your age cant even do 3 pullups

    old man but healthy

  • really? most of those would have counted? He didn't seem to be getting very far up.

  • This guy is damn good for any age - excellent

  • Excellent

  • that girl in the video lied to us. i can tell

  • Ill give him 7 chinnups, no more.

  • Yes I know I know. Since then I have focused on doing good chinups and can do over 25 good ones.

  • these are chin ups not pull ups.

  • Impressive!

  • i give him HUGE props at that age.

    buuut

I can say those aren't pull ups. those are chin ups when you have your hands facing back at you.

also, the first two chin ups were great. but the got short as they went along. off and on til he was half way. then they were just half way. if you did the half way ones from the start, you probably could've gotten an easy 50.

I'm not comparing you too me, cause im not 70.

  • You are correct. Since I did these I started to go for better chin ups and can do at least 25 with full extension. I really ought to do the whole thing over again.

  • those are puSSy pullups...lol do over had ..waYYY harderr...??

  • I can do 25 good ones. You are right that I do not do full extension pull ups.

  • dude hes over 70, haha i cant even do like half of that and im 15

  • on the other hand the old man knows this alreddy hes an ELDER you know more wise then most :P

  • great stuff man really good.

  • wow NICE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)))))

  • Well done Unle, Have just shown the video to my colleagues who where impressed!

  • great man. True Inspiration i love seeing people dedicated to a life of no limits

  • 6 good ones but of course, still inspirational

  • They're too fast, you're using momentum to do 'em, not your own body.

  • DUDE are you trying to dis a old man for being in shape come on its not a fucking contest you see any judges get over yourself

  • I'm not talking shit you fucking retard, I'm just letting him know that he's not really doing pullups, he's using the momentum from each previous one to complete the next one. It's like bouncing when you do squats.

  • @jimih64 there is no speed limit on pull ups haha... he did about 5-6 with good form and the rest was actually a technique called kipping whether he knew it or not he was doing it wrong. but he still got himself up for 32 decent ones at age 70 thats pretty damn good. i dont know any 70 years olds that can even hold themselves on a bar

  • @0587dave Of course there's no speed limit. You can go as fast as you want, as long as you're doing the correctly. My point is, he's using momentum to complete them, and that's "cheating", if you will. Like I said, it's like bouncing at the bottom of a squat, or throwing your arms up in the air instead of lifting them during shoulder presses, etc.

  • @jimih64 But this guy is obviously in tremendous shape for his age.

  • @jimih64 well the point i was making was he is 72 years old now, cheating or not, how many guys do you know that can even hold themselves up on a pullup bar that long let alone do a pull up. now imagine 20+, i dont even know a lot of regular gym goers that can do 20 even with kipping

  • damn im 15 and i cant even do 10, lmaoo.

  • great stuff!

  • This is the old guy himself writing. Thanks for the comments. I agree that my form could be improved. I am working on full extensions and believe I can do at least 25 good chin ups.

  • you are great and the video is great..those people are just jealous..keeepp doing them chinups

  • Lol...he almost forgets what month he is born in at 0:12

but he still gets mad props

  • much respect! amazing display of willpower and dedication. -Jstarzz From the barstarzz work out team thumbs up

  • Those are chin ups not pull ups ,but shit Enough respect to this man there are guys in there 20's that cant do that.

  • Yeah a lot people don't know the difference between a chin-up and pull-up. Pull-ups are a lot harder to do and take a tad bit more finesse. The elder gentlemen here gets a little fatigued around the 15th chin-up and starts to fall out of technique with the last reps.

  • You`re an inspiration sir. Congratulations. I`m 60 and I do this stuff too. I`m a personal trainer, and have never had a client that could match you, or come close . Good good stuff

  • Check out my man TPETERSON2009 doing 30 REAL DEAL Chin Ups. Proper form all the way.>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Ya, I can do 30 if I dont do my full exention too. Watch where his head go's after 17. He starts bucking his legs and not getting his chin up there. The exercise stops being as effective after you lose that perfect form. A few cheated reps can help but they are not allowed for a physical fitness test to test max PROPER reps. I'd say maybe 20 if he's havin a good day. I respect his effort though.

  • amazing video

  • 70 year old man gettin ready to whoop some ass... lol forreal though he's 70 let the man cheat

  • i cant to pull ups to that gay music lol

  • Although those are chin-ups and he only gets about 5 in where he goes all the way to the top, I'm still impressed.

If anyone hates on this video, just wait til you're 70 and try that, lol...

  • wow

  • mad props 4 this guy

  • definitely a chin up but props to you.. i can still only do ten.. lol

  • The end jog up the stairs looks likes a "Depends" commercial. lol

  • haha

  • haha, respect

  • nah, thats mostly attempts, he gets away with cheating.

  • agreed. still good for a 70 year old man tho
