Ok maybe it was true, but that must have been a weak croc. The crocodiles survived the age of the dinosaurs for a reason. Crocs can steal a kill from a pride of 30 lions and come out with no scratches. Infact the lions would have missing teeth. This croc might have been a juvenile. An adult crocs armour is too thick. The tiger was lucky it was a small croc that tried to steal its food, if it was a 20 foot croc, the tiger would have been dead.

A really big crocodile should be able to take down a cat in water. The problem may be holding on though becasue once the cat is caught he will start striking back with those paws and it will not be easy for the croc to hold on. If its not a big croc the cat may escape. If its a big croc though i would put my money on the croc.
On land no croc would ever be able to get a bite of a cat, cats are way too fast and agile plus they understand that they must avoid the jaws as this clip proves.

Ok maybe it was true, but that must have been a weak croc. The crocodiles survived the age of the dinosaurs for a reason. Crocs can steal a kill from a pride of 30 lions and come out with no scratches. Infact the lions would have missing teeth. This croc might have been a juvenile. An adult crocs armour is too thick. The tiger was lucky it was a small croc that tried to steal its food, if it was a 20 foot croc, the tiger would have been dead.

Saltwater 20 foot on land would be a meal for a huge tiger. Ive seen an adult Zebra kicking 20 foot croc in the water and got away. Crocs cant defend for long against tiger..crocs built lactic acid easily (Ask the Irwins..they know). Crocs will die under tremendous stress. So....

The crocodile is too heavily armoured to be bothered by a crocodile. An adult croc fears nothing, it can go and steal a kill from a pride of lions. I have seen this. There is only one animals that can kill an adult slatwater or nile croc, and that is an adult hippo. It can crush a 17 foot croc in its jaws.

Legitimate footage exists in which a 13 foot croc pulls a swimming adult lion underwater. The lion is dead in a matter of seconds, An on-land clamp down on a big cat's leg from a 16 or more foot croc followed by a death roll would likely be the final undoing of any adult tiger or lion.

A really big crocodile should be able to take down a cat in water. The problem may be holding on though becasue once the cat is caught he will start striking back with those paws and it will not be easy for the croc to hold on. If its not a big croc the cat may escape. If its a big croc though i would put my money on the croc.
On land no croc would ever be able to get a bite of a cat, cats are way too fast and agile plus they understand that they must avoid the jaws as this clip proves.

Jaguars beat anacondas in the amazon where they both live. Tigers are much larger and stronger than Jaguars buddy. The others I can see but the polar bear would suffer some pretty bad injuries before the fight was over.

But, of course, there are no crocodiles in Siberia. Since the clip shows a Bengal Tiger, the Croc is propably an indian mugger or marsh crocodile. They can grow up to 4-5m. The saltwater crocodile can even get bigger (7m or more). But who cares which animal is mightier or stronger. I love tigers, and i love big crocodiles,too.

That was not a small croc, but yes its true that you get croc species that can be upto twice the size of this croc. But we also have to remember that the tiger in this video is a bengal tiger. Siberian tigers are a lot bigger and more powerful. So yes you do get bigger crocs, but you also get bigger tigers.

As anyone can plainly see, this Tiger knew exactly how to approach this croc. In fact, my guess would be that this isn't the first one he has killed. The tiger was methodical. He walked around it, pounced on it's back and laid down the death bite and held on with those claws. That croc never had a chance...

I had seen this talked about on some nature show. What the tiger did was tire the croc out. As dangerous as crocs are they don't have alot of stamina.It burned itself out trying to fight off the tiger on land with the tiger laying down right on top of him.
As for the death roll. If the croc tried to do that without biting the tiger first he would have exposed his very unarmored underbelly to the tigers claws. Now if the cro had got a hold of the tiger b4 hand that is a different story.
