  • Who is the ugly women on drums? She ain't even got any tits!.

  • It does'nt get any better great song>>>

  • Here in Brasil speak: DO CARALHO!

  • what is tris wearing????

  • excellent

  • Jase are you perspiring??? Listen to these guys knock themselves out for their audience. Something that happens at every performance. Love Bill and his little dance he does while playing. This was the "sleeveless" era. Love it.

  • awesome voices!

  • Chicago is still Chicago although Peter left

  • Thanks, as I have said many times "Cetera left Chicago"

  • Awesome.. ich liebe dieses lied :(:(:( Baby pls Come back .. im so sorryyy love you :(:(:(:(L)

  • Chicago? Where are Peter Cetera?

  • @givanildo2002 lead singer

  • Wº°˚˚°ºw................!!!!..." Abon "

  • at least they tried!!!

  • i totally agree! they shouldnt even be named chicago imo

  • I do understand the love for Cetera and the feeling that "Chicago isn't Chicago" without him.. but to say that Scheff was not an adequate replacement is both foolish and showing great musical ignorance. Chicago 18 (with Jason) was simply brilliant.

  • @socomfan Jason and Dawayne made perfect sense... It was the peak of the Melodic Rock era.... the band needed to modernize for the younger fan base... I love the original lineup... but this lineup, in my opinion, was the one is the only one I'd pay to see in concert.

  • Give me a chance to make it up to you...I love you Gary....Always Your Wife

  • I loved this song in H.S. but this was just painful to listen too.

  • I like insperation better than this one but this ones still good

  • tuve la oportunidad de verlos en su visita a mexico al auditorio nacional exactamente con esta formacion valen hasta el ultimo centavo que paga uno por verlos increibles

  • chyna on the drums lol

  • I was wondering who the chick was on drums....now I know! LOL

  • It's hard to say I listened to this!!

  • Nice!!!!

  • Grandi e basta

  • Actually I thought Champlin was good at first and his voice complemented Lamm and Cetera's quite well (i.e. Hard Habit to Break) My take is that after singing those songs for the thousandth time, he was trying to find new ways to vary the melodies out of sheer boredom. I'm not saying the artist has to perform the song exactly like in the studio. But he took improvisation over the line to annoyance.

It's moot now - I believe Lou Pardini is a step in the right direction. Good Luck, Bill.

  • Bailey's guitar skills is a separate subject and I'll defer to your expertise on the subject. My college roommate owned a Les Paul Custom and that's the extent of my guitar knowledge. My comment was regarding the question of vocal ability alone.

  • I saw the video of Scheff's performance at Greek Theater in '93 and it's actually quite good. But that was 16 years ago. But you may be onto something. Image is everything and it's not just about talent. So, let's see should we have the tanned, good-looking guy with the average voice sing lead, or the talented but geeky-looking guy with the bandana? Aw, hell, let Jason do it - the groupies will never notice he can't sing. We'll use Bailey in the studio where they can't see who''s singing what.

  • Exactly. Image is everything. You'll disagree with me here, but Champlin sounded better in the 80s and early 90s than Scheff (again, in his own range). They were excited to find a guy who would sing and play bass instead of going with their original plan to hire a bassist and vocalist separately. Spoiler alert: He can't really sing.

  • To the contrary - he obviously didn't fit in - but that doesn't mean he couldn't out-sing Scheff. But that's not saying much. Scheff is so bad I could out-sing him. And believe me, that's bad. (He may have been a total "wank" but now you've insulted Parazider's daughter, because she dated him for a long time.)

  • Alright, I'll agree with you partially on Scheff. I don't think Scheff is a poor singer, at least he wasn't bad in the mid-80's but he quickly lost it. I could also "outsing" him, not in range [baritone] but in feeling and not singing through my nose. Re: bailey I just can't stand the overuse of the whammy and complete resistance to rest half a measure once in a while... technical skill isn't everything.

  • At 2:06 Scheff sings, "I really want to say you I'm sorry." Huh? Scheff on his best day is not worthy to polish Cetera's shoes. I don't know why they didn't let Bailey sing the lead on this song. He's got a much higher range than Scheff.

  • People need to get over Peter Cetera. "Oh I wish Peter was still with Chicago. Jason will never touch Peter. Jason isn't good enough." Cry me a fucking river and get over it. Peter was a fool to think he could be successful on his own. Jason now IS Chicago just as much as Peter ever was. If you don't like it, don't pay attention. Listen to some new music; this band is irrelevant today.

  • I didn't say "Oh I wish Peter was still with Chicago." I said they should have let BAILEY do it. Bailey was in the band at the time, just so you know. As to a separate question about who's better, both Cetera and Scheff have done solo projects. I'm sure those numbers speak for themselves. I agree, now that Scheff IS Chicago they are irrelevant. And since Chicago 17, UNLISTENABLE. Believe me, I've tried. (If you think they are irrelevant, why are you on this page anyway?)

  • "Be successful on his own?" Are you kidding me? Hell, he's in his 60's, lives in a big house in Idaho, livin' on royalties, doin' a few gigs a year for the fun of it, and enjoying his family. He doesn't have to live out of a suitcase anymore like he did for 17 YEARS. Sounds like to success to me.

  • >implying Bailey fit into this band at all and wasn't a total wank.

  • aaa111111 - You must be tone-deaf. Scheff for one, sings through his nose. His technique is amateurish. He's often flat or sharp. Scheff couldn't make it past the first round of American Idol.

  • i got confused but now im ok wooohooo

  • Tad fast (to be picky) but still sounds good though I have to agree with below comment and say I prefer Peter Cetera's very distinctive voice. Just my opinion...

  • tough to not miss peter's excentricities

  • MARCOU MINHA VIDA..

  • great song

  • perfect singer for this song...

  • Jason is the best, I´m happy that Keith H. is in the band now! Keith rocks...RIP Bill Champlin, we wish all the best to you

  • scheff is much better singer than cetera... that is it

  • I totally disagree! Peter is 10 x better!

  • Sad knockoff from the original... same song with less feeling... thhphhht!

  • Hair dressers..on...strike ????

  • whats up with the keyboard player? hes acting like a crackhead.

  • Jason Scheff SUCKS!!!

  • you sucks asshole, i s better tan peter cetera

  • Mate, at least he is somebody and you are??? if he has been with Chicago for so many years it's becouse he's good. just like that.

  • This evergreen song is beautiful and remember my youth...I love these guys, expecially Jason..this music come into veins... too great !

  • I have always loved this song, but this video is just not the same without Peter Cetera singing it.

  • r u crazy this guy jason sings it better

  • I may be crazy, I just prefer his voice. The other guy is a great singer don't get me wrong, it just sounds like a cover song to me when Peter Cetera isn't singing it is all.

  • love this song

  • This song has never meant so much 2 me. Emotions makes us do some crazy things in this life. I cannot explain how sorry I am. I hope one day you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Im sorry :(:(

  • lol at jason's hair. haha

    great song.

  • Génial

  • beautiful song!!!!!!!!11

  • emocionante!!!!

    ¿Cuando van a venir a Chile?

  • Great AWESOME live concert!!

  • Do men ever really feel like this? I think I've hoped they do, or might, for my whole life. I hope that I am loved like this before I am under clover. Anthony Perkins said that a man's mother is not only his best friend, but his most ardent lover. hmmm. REALLY enjoyed this song and always have. thanks Chicago xxx

  • Great.....

  • Buenísimo. Gracias

  • No Jason Scheff does it better

  • P.C Does better on it

  • sorry

  • Amazing song....I love all their songs....there's so much everyone can relate to in their songs!!!

    Simple beautiful!

  • No need to say your sorry.

  • nice nice

  • How did he know when to start singing? There's no clue in the music. He had to have counted the beats from the first note.

  • Sometimes you have to count. However, in this case the bad would probably have continued on until he sang. They're going to follow his lead.

  • Aha! That must be it! Now that you say it, it seems so clear.

After all, a professional music group is a high functioning team, and a team works together.

  • well there was a slight que, the lowest note of what sounds like a string section, but was most likely a synth. But yes, if he missed the que, they would have faked it, thats what we do, but we are just a garage band, not the same caliber.

  • What?.....this song isn't Chopin...Caliber doesn't apply here. You can be a hell of a lot better than this crap...hell, THEY were better at one time.

  • smackyjack, dont care who sent song. but you are rude. hope your life is good as you are. maybe you learn from it. at this point you might want to consider being not rude, karma does happen! good luck

  • Didn't mean to strike as rude...I think most would agree with me this isn't Chicago's finest hour...(fellow Musicians), That being said, everyone has an opinion. I think if you play music and you want to be "tight" and "good" all you have to do is practice. That's what I'm trying to convey. Sorry for the "crap" word in my above statement...(I'm trying to be better at gauging the strength of my opinions offending people for no reason)... i don't believe in karma. I think it's superstition.

  • This song is great, I'm not a huge Chicago fan overall, but this song is just awesome!

  • Always loved this song sung by Peter Cetera! But this LIVE performance with Jason singing and bassplaying is priceless! Awesome! Esp. Dawayne Baily solo! Their long hair just make them look like TRUE Gods of REAL MUSIC!

  • Comment removed

  • The drummer is a chick with a stick....uhm...sticks. lol.

  • chicago is a great band there music comes from their HEART

  • is the dummer a guy or a girl

  • Rofl I asked myself the samething. But the drummer is a guy, an ugly guy lol. Great band!

  • denggggggggggg.....scary

  • A chick, a big chick.

  • At 1:24 his vest and shorts combo almost look like girl clothes at that angle.

  • one of my favorite songs from chicago

  • bills face at 17 seconds is priceless

  • This one is awesome! No one could ever do it better!

  • this is Jason Scheff singing.

    wow!

  • Its so beautiful song!!!!!!!!!!:D

  • i love this song ...

  • lol. Bill's face at :42 is priceless. It's almost as if he was saying, 'Wow, that harmonizing was great! We pulled it off!'

I love Chicago, but that face just makes me laugh so hard.

  • anibody has a tab of this song¿?

  • Tris Imboden: great drummer, bad hair piece.

  • scheff and bailey rules

  • nice ending.. yeahhh!!

  • You guys are awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  • Good song to apologize to some one with, I hope I hear it from someone, who hurt me deeply.......

  • Peter Cetera didnt want to be in this band . And if he came back would good would it do ? He cant sing these songs in key anymore .

  • A very good cover band

  • If you look closely in the first 4 minuets of the song, you can see Jimmy on keyboard!

  • They are a very good band but this song would sound alot better if Peter Cetera were singing it instead of Jason.Jason doesn't have enough vocal range to sing lead vocals on this song.Props to Bill Champlin and Dwayne on guitar.

  • awesome ...!!!

    i love them

  • Peter Cetera, Danny Seraphine and Robert Lamm were Chicago...not these jokers.

  • Agreed. Cetera had feeling, didn't drop key as much as this guy. Good attempt, but falls slightly short.

  • without Peter Cetera and Danny Seraphine, I don't think that Chicago was ever the same.

  • good song!!
