I would change the style a little bit and start making your own strain of creatures, that's what I do, I draw in detail though, and don't consider myself good enough to want to post them just yet, but if you'd like to see some I can e-mail them to you. I call them Intermon ( they're not used in "battles" as they are used in war and useful things, and they are more animal-like in nature than pokemon or digimon, and they actually grow into their forms instead of sudden evolution. Thats the basics.
