i would have liked to see a freeway or rolling run, that turbo b-series is going to take time to spool up from a dead stop. I think it would have been more interesting from a 40-50 mph roll.

h22 with stock tranny in the same chassis is about as fast as a b16

h22 running a b16 or type r tranny through an h2b kit would be much faster.

2.2-1.6= 0.6 more displacment

the motor just has better numbers about 40hp & 38 ft lbs more.

however, i agree the b16 is the better motor albeit smaller, the oversquare engine geometry (81mm bore & 77?mm stroke) gives it a r/s ratio around 1.75:1. f1 cars have an r/s of ~2.5:1 capable of 19,000rpm, i hope people understand the b16 a little better now,
