from what ive heard New Zealand is not bad for gun owners, but not as relaxed as USA. doesnt everyone need a lisence to own any sort of weapon? but supressors and SBR rifle are easy to get once you have your lisence for them?
@303shotgun - sorry that's incorrect- the person needs to be licensed to own firearms, and if you want to own high cap semi autos that firearm must be registered. If you want to own full auto firearms you need an specially endorsed licence and then you can't shoot them unless you are demonstrating or testing it for sale. These are very tightly controlled in NZ.
@andycranch I know you need a firearms licence to own firearms in NZ because I have a NZ firearms licence. but he said you need a licence for any sort of weapon in NZ which isnt true you dont need a licence for crossbows, compounds and you dont need a licence for airguns if you are 18 years or over.
Correct - although ot of the box .45 is sub sonic, custom loads I have put through are way quieter. I will get around to uploading a new vid soon showing the difference.
How hard was this to convert from 303 to 45?

A solution for those who can't get a DeLisle carbine. I bet its more accurate too.

Yes indeed - this will do 2 inches at 100 yards all day long which I bet a DeLisle can't do! And way cheaper too :-)

Yes I'm in NZ. Mod done by a gunsmith friend. Sorry accidentally deleted your last question! :-)

I'm sure it will be superbly quiet if you used low-velocity ammo so you don't get and super-sonic crackle
