I went through right after this cycle. My cycle was the first ever to go through with zero MP's.. Out of 220 privets not a 1 was an MP in this company. 4th PLT....JUNK YARD DOGS...."WE CRAZY" 29 JUN 07 -- 31 AUG 07.. DS.Dwine and D.S. Honneycutt...........Best days of my life.!

It would be hard to say if it's national guard or army. It is the Army but each individual person could be regular Army, Army Reserve or National Guard. So i hope that answers your question. If not feel free to send me a msg and i'll explain more, or just general info on MP training or basic etc.

SUMMER of 92..sounds like you may have graduated....just a few weeks before I arrived.

I arrived at reception mid-October 1992. Arrived at Alpha 787 barracks 2 or 3 days later.

Drill Seargeant Hartman was my Platoon Sgt. D.S. Washington.....and the much hated...Drill Sgt May (female) were the other 2 Drills.

I do recall the name Fitzgibbon. I think he was an ok guy. Holland I'm not sure; was he a real big guy (African American ?) D.S. Washington was; he was cool. All muscle.

I think our Senior Drill Sgt was Poyer. Seemed like a pretty rough and tough guy, for an old man.

You probably remember Greens Barber Shop and maybe you visited the local Shoney's buffet, on pass with some platoon members.

Shoney's is pretty lame, but it seemed like a cool place to eat, for recruits on pass. A change from the mess hall.

DS Rivera was crazy..... I was in 3rd plt. Hellhounds. He caught me sleeping on fireguard one night, and was smoked for about 15mins with my battle buddy that night.

Before I smartened up and basically begged, borrowed and stealed to get discharged, that looks like the company I had the unfortunate circumstance of being apart of. DS Rivera was the only one I had any semblance of respect for. The rest of the NCOs, I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.

This isnt delta. it sounds like they say "we are foxtrot" or "we are bulldogs"

so it's either foxtrot or bravo company. thats just a guess of mine. I was delta.
