i kinda agree, maybe its just the user tho, but yea, just give me a handfull of 45 and they go in there pretty fast. i don't disagree with it if people like it or it makes them faster to each their own. i like the handfull of brass anyways

try loading them 30 times in a row at the range in a day, your thumb will be begging for mercy , especially with .45. anyone can load a couple mags fast with a fresh thumb....... it's the range fatigue that makes these (and the lula especially) so useful.

@sonick808 absolutely! I often do ~400 rnds of .40s on a range trip and my thumb was trashed at the end. The UpLula has been great.

They're dummy rounds, made of aluminum, no powder/primer/bullet. They're for practicing speed loading drills and for safe dry fireing of guns.

Harder than a 45, especially for the 17 rds Mec-gar mags I bought for the Ruger.

It's not to say that you cannot load the last two rounds in the 17-rounder by hand, but with a mag-loader it's much more easier.

Yeah you're right. Tried the UpLula one in store----really nice and universal! But neither it nor the HKS ones are small enough...from carry point of view I'd take MagLoader.

@nullx2 I had the same problem and getting the last 2 rnds in a mag was a real pain, literally. But I got an "UpLula" loader. I like it better because you use a full hand grip to push the rounds down, instead of relying only on thumb pressure. For my arthritic hands, it's much easier and faster. I highly recommend it.
